Disenchanting all the trash cards, duplicates and golden ones, how much money would it take to complete a full card colection (Standard 2018)?. I've been grinding Arena for quite some time but still the grind feels endless (I get 6 wins on average). I've been able to get enought dust to craft Spiteful Priest, Jade Druid, Evolve Shaman and Aggro Paladin. In all but one deck (the Shaman deck) I lack several niche cards (Fandral in Jade Druid, Grand Archivist in Spiteful Priest and 1 Call to Arms in aggro pally). I'd like to try more decks, for example those fancy EZ Big EZ "Class" decks but those are the most expensive (Deathwing, Deathwing Lord, Y'shaarj, Ysera, etc), Quest mage or Razakus Priest. So, how much money would it take?
Never craft use gold only for arena (use http://www.heartharena.com/ or smth similar if you begin). If you perform well you will generate gold and have free pack. Calculate dust required and when you have enough craft all. That should take you 1 or 2 years depend of how much(and good) you play .
Well I remember reading in several websites that if you, on average, want to have 2 of every single card of any single expansion you have to purchease aroun 400 packs of the said expansion, by that point you either already have all the cards or you have dust (from all the duplicates) enough to craft the ones you're missing, so from there is just simple math, 3 expansions from 2017 + 2 from 2016 and the Karazhan adventure (20 bucks) so you need on average around 2000 packs, the most packs you can buy at once and also the best offer for your money is buying 60 packs so you would need to buy this like 33 time (a total of 1980 packs) and that's = 2010 US dollars but if you say you only want the good stuff it'll be less.

You will need around 200 packs of cards to get everything you need for every expansion. This plus a lots of classic packs. At least 300.
How you get these packs, by playing free or purchasing is up to you.
by getting this many packs you can afford anything relevant.
Avarage pack dust value is around 105-110 dust/pack. Even though it feels like you always get 40 dust packs :)
the big streamer buy 800-1000 packs (with money) when an expansion start and open them while streaming.
You don't need that many (2500+$ per year), but they never got a problem with missing (non-golden) cards ;)
