I think this card warrants more of a discussion than rate me dust, bad, etc or is this good in arena or not, etc etc. I just feel we will never get that discussion on the cards release page since people will probably overlook the conversation very easily since they don't understand the card or don't see it's potential. I'd like to have a fleshed out conversation on it's potential in constructed.
My theory, is that you will run this Beast Hunter. Now why
Pros-
It's a Beast
It's a 3/3 for 3 mana with a strong effect, which in the world of hearthstone is pretty good when the best possible play is a vanilla 3/4
It warrants Hard removal in the early game
If not removed, gets out of control in the early game (much like a better Micro Machine
It combos with tundra rhino on turn 8 (you can possibly give it stealth to make sure it lives to next turn or windfury to give it a second adapt)
It can be buffed by Hound Master the following turn into a 5/5 with taunt that can grow
Cons-
It's bad against taunts
Its bad against Hard control decks that have early removal (IE fiery win axe, frost bolt)
It's affects in general are just not immediate, The best way to compare it to something imediate is to Animal companion I feel
Leokk/huffer/misha vs this----- Leokk will have an immediate affect if your board is full of minions, huffer as well because he adds 4 dmg, and misha definitely can stop aggro pushes. So argueably all of them the turn they are played are useful to some extent while this is not. HOWEVER, If this doesn't bait removal(that could be used on tundra or highmane) it becomes significantly better than the other 3 (especially if you get windfury on it)
All in all from a list of 1-10 I'd like to argue this being a 7 maybe an 8 since I believe it could turn out to be Small Time Buccish and every midrange deck will run 2 copies to punish decks that don't have removal for it immediately and to make sure their better cards don't get removed by said removal spells if the opponent has them. I feel like this has Significant potential in Handbuffadin since it could easily become a 4/4 or 5/5 by turn 3 which could prove to be impossible to deal with and spiral out of control as well.
Let me hear your thoughts, I've given you my feelings on the matter and I think we could have a decent civil conversation on it.
I busted two of these bad boys in my initial pack opening and run them both in my Discolock (non-quest). The deck has plenty of KILL ON SIGHT minions and, although Vicious Fledgling has no obvious synergy with discard, the deck's ability to flood the board early with cards which will go out of control if allowed to live means that something horrible will survive and prosper.
It's super strong if you manage to trigger something like Windfury or Divine Shield off it. Heck even getting the plants is nice because it's a must remove target that leaves you with some tokens afterwards.
I double run it in my Midrange Beast Hunter and I am very happy with it. Very versatile and can quickly snowball out of control, especially with windfury in the first adaption.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
I include it in mhm Zoolock list, and it has performed very well (could be attributed to unfamiliarity or shaky meta). If you're winning on turn 3 (not hard as Zoo), and drop this, it will snowball uncontrolably.
It easily won the game on its own in approximately half the matches I played.
The first UNG card I crafted right away and I don't regret it. Soon people will know it's a must remove like Brann and Hyena and such, but for now it's been great fun :)

I'm using this in my hunter deck and it's doing well, but I'm also running one in my priest and he's killing it there!
Paired with Faceless Manipulator it can get stupid crazy!

I'm actually running him in aggro beast Druid (with a very high win rate currently). If you can turn 1 innervate him out, you just automatically win.
I run it in Beast Hunter. As soon as I get windfury, my opponent tends to just concede. I love it.
I think this card will definitely be the pilot shredder of turn 3 when people realize how good it is.
This card is quite insane, reminds me of frothing berserker on his snowball potential, very strong card indeed.
