So I just opened a card pack from my Arena run and got a Golden Tirion. Now, I have no use for Tirion as the only Paladin deck I play is Shockadin variation. Is it even worth keeping or should I just dust it to make myself another legendary?
If you are willing to live with the fact that you are probably trading a golden for a normal because you are impatient then do it. The way it will likely play out is you will craft Y legendary with the dust and at some point you will get a duplicate of that same legendary via opening packs and dust it for 400. At some point you will decide you want to try a paladin deck with Tirion and invest 1600 dust into the normal version.
Option 2 you will quit before the above plays out and none of this matters except maybe the marginal increased enjoyment from a new legendary created with Tirion's dust until you quit.
I got a golden rag 2 days after I crafted a normal rag...still haven't dusted either and I actually prefer the normal cards to the gold ones. Eventually I'm sure I'll set my sights on a full golden deck and regret dusting any golds (so I haven't yet). If you are one legendary from making a really solid laddering deck that you love playing, I'd probably go for it. If you don't know what you are going to do with the dust or don't KNOW exactly what you want. I'd save it for now.

If you don't see yourself using it you might as well dust it and craft something else.

Yep. They play exactly the same as their regular counterparts...but they are shiny. =)

I wouldn't DE, but if you are short on legendary cards and need a specific one then might as well you DE...
Don't DE, you'll regret it later.
Tirion is OP but if you're never going to run him than there is obviously no point in keeping.
Keep, u might regret it further down the line, Gold legendaries are not so easy to come by.
