I remember this card being played quite a bit early on in the Beta, but everyone stopped once they realized that Yeti is always better. This is mostly because the 2/1 can die to some hero powers, so it is pretty weak. What if the stat distribution was 2/3 and 2/2? Would it be played more?
i don't think so. i think this new stat distribution just makes it even weaker to harvest golem. maybe make it a 2/5 with a 1/1. i think that'd make a nice card. 3/6 worth of stats?
like a water elemental but not.
How about a 3/3 that spawns a 2/2? That would be better I would think. A 5/5 that has the problem that it is split between 2 entities.

Generally that is not considered a problem in any TCG.
Having more targets is almost always a good thing.
Although, due to how easy it is to peck out that 1 damage, any 1 HP creature is pretty BAD vs Mage and is meh in general past turn 4.
With the current stats it's balanced, I like the idea of making it a 2/3 & 2/2, there are certainly more benefits to that distribution than there are problems (IMO).

Maybe with those stats I would play the Dragonling Mechanic in a Token Druid...or in a Bloodlust Shaman...
...Too young to die, too drunk to live...
