We need more cards that get buffs based on c'thun's state, like the class cards. Having more of those will make C'thun decks tier 1 if we don't maybe tier 2-3.
Even if BGH were not on the nerf list, wouldn't you rather he hit this guy than C'Thun himself?
Sooo turn 6 you face this and be like 'Okay, 4 turns after MAYBE he will drop C'thun that deals 12-16 random damage, better save my BGH for that and leave this 7/6 so he kills me in 2 turns'. Yeah, right.
If you don't have other options to remove 7/6 you still BGH that. And even if you have like a fireball, you still BGH that - it kills it for Free, gives you tempo and leaves you with 6+ more damage which you can use to push for lethal Before daddy C'thun even enters the field. The thing to remember with all of the C'thun decks - you basically want to finish the game before t10 or before he makes an appearance and rekts you.
Card is not called Prophet Skeram, but Skeram Cultist.
That's confirmed by Zeriyah on reddit. Now that I prefer !
Aww, I kind of liked the nod to the mechanics in AQ being reflected in the fact you can have multiple of him. True him only buffing C'thun was pretty lame, but I would have lived with it since it felt awesome to look at it and realize there was an amusing reason he got to break the rules for named characters and rarity.
Also the potential for a Legendary also named Skeram was priceless.

You would think it would have some other effect on top of it or at least give C'Thun +4/+4 considering its a rare. Rare cards aren't usually this plain.
I like how everyone is saying no one will play this because of Big Game Hunter. Seeing as most decks only run 1 BGH, this would free up C'Thun from the threat of hard removal. If 2 BGH becomes a thing, either run a second of these or maybe Ragnaros (either one).

Double BGH, Double Brewmaster is clearly the meta to expect. You would be a fool to think otherwise.

Paying 6 mana for pretty much a vanilla minion seems too much.It all depends on how much you want/need to buff C'thun, or if putting real card in that slot, even on a C'thun deck, makes your deck work better. Pretty lame honestly, same effect than the 2 and 4 mana cultists but nothing else (like the divine shield on the 4 mana cultist)It should be something like give your C'thun +3/+3 or have a 5/7 body or taunt.
I dont think that this will make it even on C'then decks, the 6 mana slot is way to important to give up real cards for this one.
C'thun decks, spend all game making he grow, die at turn 9

Guys, you DO remember Prophet Skeram divided itself into 3? It probably isn't legendary because it makes sense to have 2 in your deck
EDIT: Eh, nvm, it seems the name was actually wrong, guess a real prophet may one day appear.

Paper is fine, nerf Rock. Sincerely, Scissors.
'Wahhhh this guys sucks'
same person two months later:
"Wahhhh nerf C'Thun decks, how can C'Thun be so good when the minions that support him are pew pew pew"
as comment before, this minion is not THE prophet Skeram (raid boss from C'thun raid) but his clones (probably).
If i have to say, i think Prophet Skeram will be a legendary that interact with those cultists if they are on your deck.

I really dislike those uncreative cards that buff C'Thun, regardless of how good the cards are.

+4/+4? That would be insane...

If they BGH this they aren't hitting C'thun
