I didn't likes this card at first, but after taking a moment I realize that this is an amazing card. You can combo this card with all the battlecries and spells that give minions buffs that lasts only one turn and actually keep them when the turn end.
Worse baseline stats. Can only target friendly minions. Doesn't copy card text. Much weaker to silence.
But it's still interesting. So... Hrm.
Pretty sure you cant silence off the copy effect. pretty sure. . .
I feel the difference comes in that it's not copying the card. It's copying the stats specifically. And that leads me to believe it can be silenced off. But if I'm wrong, then that point is gone, and it becomes a much better card to me.
Yea if it was able to be silenced it would be a little worse. I think the keyword copy means that it works like manipulator. It's kind of inconsistent but I could see druids running it. If yeti becomes viable again than this card becomes a bit better because hitting your yeti is pretty easy and is a solid play.
Brann with this gives you a 2/4 and a 4/8 with taunt, and that's if you have nothing on the board. Seems legit to me, I like it.
Wouldn't it just copy over the same stats twice? It would copy the 2/4, then copy the 2/4 again, for a ... 2/4. Brann doubles "gain" type effects, but everything else he just makes the card do the same thing over again.
This is a really weird card because for it to be even decent it needs to hit something with at least 4 mana in raw stats but that means you can basically never play this on turn 4 unless you're playing something like Ancient Watcher. Turn 5 this is a really good card with things like Twilight Drake, Eerie Statue, etc. Whats also interesting is that if you play this in a Warlock deck and you get Power Overwhelming from Dark Peddler earlier on, you can Power Overwhelming a minion on turn 5 and copy it with Faceless Shambler since it only copies the raw stats. Other than that, I don't really know what to think of this card. It looks bad but its the kind of card that's built entirely on synergys so we can't really say how good It'll be.
They already said they were considering removing the silence from Keeper of the Grove. The 'extrapolation' is just conjecture from that website and not really evidence. There is a big difference between a standalone silence effect and one that you get for free as part of an already viable minion.

I think ill still want to run Sen'jin Shieldmasta instead of this card because there wont be very many cards before turn 4 which can give better stats. I do admit it has the possibilty to be better then shieldmasta
"Speaking of Keeper of the Grove, Blizzard is looking to weaken Silence overall. According to developers, it felt strange when you played a buff deck and it just happens to get countered because you happen to have two Silences innately built into your Druid deck. Extrapolating this could point to cards like Ironbeak Owl and Spellbreaker receiving nerfs."
friendly minion.. that makes it pretty trash tier. thought it was applicable for all minions at first
i prefer handlock over zoo.
Interesting card, very weak to silence unfortunatly
could work in some kind of ramp druid, handlock, renolock, but nothing more imo

This is completely rubbish. For 4 mana you get crappy copy of Faceless Manipulator. What a joke!!!

This could be ridiculous in handlock.
Btw mods, the real name of this card is Soulless Manipulator

My first thought was it could be fun in one of those cheesy Inner Fire decks.

Molten Giant is a big consideration as well.
