The card I fear the most in the arena is Flamestrike . I played pretty cautious assuming the Mage has Flame Strike and most of the time end up losing. What are some ways to play around it?
There is no direct way of playing around it, but generally don't put too many minions on the board at turn 6. Try to have two minions to draw the flame strike, and hope your opponent doesn't have more. Maybe play something with 6+ HP, or a divine shield.
Playing a lot of Mage in constructed, your greatest nightmare with Flamestrike is your opponent just refilling the board next turn.
With that in mind, I would say your best counter is holding back at least 2 minions from turn 6 on and don't play more then 2 minions on the board at any given time. This should work in Arena as well as it does in Constructed.
Also, try and keep their board clear so favor trading on turn 6+ over face damage. Nothing is worse for a mage then being forced to Flamestrike just to stay alive. The only time this spell gains anything beyond a stall play is if minions are on their side of the board when they play it.

No, since most of the damage should be done by turn 7.
