I want to craft one of the above, I already have Rag and Tirion (plus Malygos and Antonidas which I don't use):
I main Paladin and will be for the foreseeable future, I prefer control, currently running giant control, but I think it's time I branched out so something a bit more flexible than Ysera etc. would be nice.
It seems the general consensus seems to be Cairne on what to craft next but given how I play I was wondering if anyone might think one of the others would be more appropriate?
To me, Cairne seems like the best choice. Sylvannas, TBK, and Harrison Jones are all very strong cards and would be a great addition to most control decks (especially giant control), but Cairne has an immense amount of raw value that isn't determined by your opponent's board state. Sylvannas is best when you can steal something (or negate an opponents turn as they try to play around her). TBK obviously counters heavy taunters. Harrison Jones only is effective against weapon decks. Cairne, unlike the other 3 options, is normally a safe drop on turn 6 so long as you aren't losing terribly. When he drops, they either start losing a ton of tempo and card advantage trying to deal with him, or they just take the 4 damage a turn. Considering you play pally giant control, if they ignore Cairne and go for the face, you get giants out and then heal up. If they go for Cairne they lose tempo/card advantage. Either way its a win for playing him.
I think the general consensus is right on this one.
I use TBK frequently, and find him to be very useful in regaining tempo. Cairne is also very good for raw power. I think the only one i wouldn't recommend is Harrison, because he is too situational.

Good points, and there are two things I enjoy most in this game: immediate effect and value. Cairne has no immediate effect, but value wise he seems to be one of the. Highest probability 2-for-1s in the game.
Harrison Jones I just a card I can't wait to one day have as I love Indiana Jones and his intro and Pally has awful card draw so he can be useful (also serves as insurance for a stolen/copied Tirion) but maybe he isn't a priority lol.
TBK is also attractive as those big druid trees can sometimes suck up all my removal and god forbid they have a Rag or something to follow them up, but tempo is not really something I have to worry too much in giant control, you can reset it whenever you want with equality combos, that's part of why I like it so much because I hate losing the early game tempo battle to a bad mulligan.
The only thing to remember is Cairne can be silenced, TBK cannot.
You're poisoning my thoughts haha ;( I am so close to pulling the trigger on Cairne but I just know that next game I'm gonna be stuck in front of a tree with no removal lol.
I do just wonder if the shifting meta will make TBK more and more useful, I still err spot wards Cairne as he is less situational, but if the situation arises then TBK can basically be a gg right?
What do you think you will remove from your deck in place of this crafted legendary? I think that is a large factor in the decision making process. Furthermore, if you are looking for "mileage" out of the cards you craft (shifting meta, etc.), remember that Naxx will emphasize Deathrattle, so Cairne couldn't hurt in the long run anyways.
A few months ago Cairne would've been obvious, now TBK seems to be as if not better due to the current meta.
Just some brain food, this might not be the greatest of examples but you can compare these 2 legendaries to Savannah Highmane and Fire Elemental, SH has a good effect in the sense that it can create two 2/2s (which is much more valuable than 3 damage) but FE is perhaps better because his effect is unavoidable and immediate.
Tough one, but I'm still going to place my money on Cairne being better. It's less situational and if your opponent can't get rid of it soon it's pretty amazing.

We'll the Paladin giant deck is very expensive and I have lots of cheap substitutes so I can sub any of the originals in. TBK will be in place of either an ogre or twilight drake, as it's already 4 mana heavy and you don't play minions in the early game it'll probably be the latter.
TBK isn't in the original deck but that's fine, I hate net decking and would like to give it my own flavour anyway.
such a hard decisions down to TBK and Cairne now, thanks for the help guys.
TBK has value even if you kill a 2 mana taunt like frost wolf grunt. Summoning a 6 mana 4/5 can also be thought of as, 4 mana summon a yeti, then 2 mana to deal 2 damage.
In otherwords, killing any taunt which costs higher than 2 mana gives you positive value while the 4/5 body still has a chance to 2 for 1 as well.

Yeah, so both are. Wry strong, I guess it just boils down to Cairne being more consistent and icing on the cake to a deck, whereas TBK is more situational but at the same time more game chasing when that situation arises.
Very tough to choose, interestinfo that nobody is recommending Sylvannus anymore After the nerd lol.

I personally have Rag and Cairne in my control decks, and I am saving up for a Sylvannas as my next craft. Its a good drop at 6 which presents an immediate threat.
TBK is the best value with the meta right now. cairne's amazing and so is sylvanas, but the utility TBK provides far outweighs the other cards. my vote goes towards crafting TBK.
Even though you already chose Cairne, still wanted to add something.. :)
I have personally found more use out of Sylvanas and TBK than Cairne. But I run a Ramp Druid deck that I can give Sylvanas taunt, as well as any enemy creature taunt to kill it with TBK if need be. I do see Cairne's value though! I have all 3 of them in that deck.. haha..
Taunting Sylvanas has won me several games if she couldn't be silenced. For a Paladin you could find some situations where you can make some tricky plays.. if she doesn't get silenced.. You could throw Redemption on her, or Blessing of Wisdom/Kings.. Or if she gets low you can smack her with the Hammer of Wrath (not ideal but hey, can be useful). If she doesn't get silenced she is a card that has to be dealt with. The only time that it kinda sucks is if she doesn't get killed until after the enemy has nothing on the board. Then it kinda feels like a waste.
Even though Sylvanas is one of my favourite cards, Cairne might be better for your deck as it's not situational at all compared to the other 2.
Good pick with Cairne, though I think Bloodmage thalnos would have been a good pick as well since the first real "expansion" of the card pool is going to focus heavily on deathrattle. We obviously don't know specifics yet but one can assume that those cards with gel really well with the new cards coming out of Naxx.

Definitely will be crafting the others (including Harrison Jones!) when I get the chance, what I like about TBK and Harrison most is that they are insurances to using my own legendaries.. With so much Faceless/MC/MCT going around.
Sylvannus seems awesome too, I don't mind that her deathrattle doesn't go off if the board is clear but a lot of the time it seems the opponent had to deliberately trade 2-for-1 or more for her to make it that way.

Ugh I hate deciding which legendary to craft.

I went with Cairne haha, played a quick game and he was immediately silemced LOL. Still won though, hopefully he brings me mcuh value.

You should craft all 3 when you get a chance. :)
Cairne draws out silence, paving the way for Tirion
