I played Boom Bot in my first match and completely ran over the other guy. The key was that I had a really solid turn 4 Goblin Blast Mage. After that I just coasted to victory. I also played as Annoy-o-tron and didn't have quite as smooth of a win, but I managed to eventually get there.
Boom bots deck seems to flow so much better then Annoy-O-Trons, the difference between the two is pretty substantial. Also, the fact that every early game card in Annoy-o-Trons deck has two health (except the Druids class card) really works against it with Boom bots hero power. In fact, the hero power and deck seems to just prey on all these early game cards, regardless of the divine shield. Not to mention all the midrange battlecry damage cards (Goblin Blastmage, Mad Bomber, Bomb Lobber). This seems like a very unfair match up. Also, the incomparable power of their respective spells. Recycle, really? I get the flavour but... Come on Blizzard...

3 times Anooy-O-Tron. 3 time 0 chance. Either you get a very got start and the boombot got nothing or you are toast. He can wipe your board several times...you got nothing once he has board control. The ability of annoyotron is easily countered with the ability of the boombot...so no help at all except in your own round. A lot of the annoyotron cards are useless in combination with the annoyotron ability(since they basicly have the same effect but it makes no sense to shield-buff your own cards twice in a round cause boombot and most enemy cards will just take that shield out anyway before attacking. Same with weakening the attack of an enemy card during your round...you got a shield so who cares for how many attack points the enemy has??). Lot of very stupid RNG. The worst brawl so far.
All I can say if you get annoyotron: Wait for the first 3 rounds...if you got no decent advantage by then: Just quit. Playing is just waste of time then. Sooner or later your opponent will wipe the board and you will have no chance for a comeback cause your cards and ability are just much, much weaker.
They also claim that the randomizer is such that it's possible to end up with more than 30 cards in a deck!(!!!)
So it's easy to see why there's a lot of argument over which side is better -- all it takes is one random minion that works well with or against either Bot's hero power to completely flip the script. I'm even willing to wager, given the randomness, that all of the non-consistent minions in the deck are actually just entirely random mechs, given my experience drawing 2x Antique Healbot.
Edit2: In fact, I'm even going to go a little farther and say that in all likelihood, Boom Bot and Annoy-o-tron both have 18 stable cards in their decks, and the other 12 are random. I'm fairly certain that Cobalt Guardian, Shielded Minibot, and Force-Tank MAX all have one 'permanent' copy in Annoy-o-tron's deck.
I looked at this card originally and I thought, you know, it's a card, and you play this card. The card will be that card that you play so you're playing a card. So, it is one thing to play a card. If you're opponent doesn't really have any cards, the card will screw up the card pretty hard, and that means it's a pretty good card.
It is funny how some are saying Boom Bot is OP and some are saying Annoy-o-Tron is
Not really. If you always hit on annoyotron with gazrilla(yes, that card can be in that deck. I never saw it while playing annoyotron myself tho) and none of your several board clears on your hand then you may think annoyotron is better....but that's about it. Unless there is a 100% chance for a victory there will always be people claiming that the weaker deck is better...
Only won as boom and only lost as Annoy after playing around 4-5 games with each, boom has a much better deck, Annoy has a better hero power but its not enough to carry him, at least not on my experience
I'm glad they got some semi-randomized setup working, instead of being either super random or just a fixed list. This should allow for far more interesting pre-made brawls.
And the remaining minions are filled in with a random selection of:
<snip>
I think that other 12 minions are randomly selected out of all list of minions. People report Gahz'rilla on either side, I've seen it at Annoy-o-Tron's side against me, wiped it tho by Bouncing Blade, and that dino is missed in either of the lists.
Had solid experience with Boom Bot so far (4 wins 1 loss t2, 1 DC when I was winning t8, 1 autoconcede) and have managed to play one game as Annoy-o-Tron (RNG win), and have to say Boom Bot is somewhat stronger. Annoy-o-Tron lacks early play to drop more than 1 minion to the field and secure it with taunt, and BB can often break bubbles with hero power and do 1 damage elsewhere. My win with Annoy-o-Tron was t8, 1 HP left and 5 minions (1 HP'd and one "just" taunt), and BB missing me with both Boom Bots (he played Dr. Boom last turn), hero power and Madder Bomber, and left a taunt on board so Boom could not reach me. Probably there was a noob, if he'd play Twisting Nether I'd be nailed for at least 2.

It's pretty well balanced. It depends on individual player style.
Be Still
No it doesn't. It says "2 random enemies."
Everytime they make Brawl such as Ragnaros vs Nefarian it seems unbalanced for one side.
Played as Boom Bot. Down to 2 health each, my turn and he had a Leper Gnome with taunt. Lucky I had a Healbot in my hand for a few turns!
Did anyone else notice that you can now put the loose screw back in place?
Played about 10 times between two accounts and still haven't gotten the boom bot.

I'm fairly certain the decks are at least somewhat randomized, because I just drew 2 Antique Healbots as 'Tron.
EDIT: Hearthhead confirms this.
Annoy-o-Tron always has
Spells:
Minions:
And the rest are filled in randomly by a selection of:
Similarly, Boom Bot Jr. always has
Spells:
Minions:
And the remaining minions are filled in with a random selection of:

Nice try on balancing Blizzard. 3/10 for effort.

i just win 2 first game wit boom bot.
Boom bot is later have more stuff to control board
I've got the beast in my sights
NOT. I found Annyoy-O-Tron more consistent and easier to handle.
But i won games with Boom-Bot too, so the Balance of the decks seems ok to me.
annoy-o-tron actually also has Coghammer as a card.
I put the "fun" in "disfunctional" !
