I just went to the first thought that popped into my mind, so this is just a rough first idea. There are plenty of hearthstone veterans who really love the creative and competative metas of the many constructed tavern brawls.
Miniature warfare, Top 3, Six shooter,Battle of the Bans, Clockwork card dealer, Hearth of the sunwell. These were all brawls that let you go wild, and i was always able to come up with homebrew decks that had a positive winrate against the 3 most popular netdecks. I love these brawls so much i usually end up with 200+ wins at the end of the week.
Sadly 70% of the tavern brawls are premade decks with a ton of rng. I understand this is because Blizzard don't want new players to have a negative experience, getting totally destroyed by a player with a big collection.
So how about you launch a choice between 2 different tavern brawls every week. One is a creative constructed brawl with wild cards. The other is premade deck. You could label one as Expert and the other as Normal. Whichever brawl you finished first, would give you that weeks pack reward, you would only get it once, like today. I have never had problems with wait times for tavern brawls, so splitting up the players would hardly be a real problem in my eyes.
This way you would keep a much larger % of your userbase happy at all times, instead of alienating half of your active players every week.
Thats just my 2 cents, what do you guys think? Would be nice to hear from both newbies and veterans.
Good idea and i completely agree with you but that will sadly not make it happen. I really like to more creative brawls as well and would be happy to have one every week. Don't think it will ever happen tho.
They badly need to make it that two brawls run at the same time. There's enough in the pool it isn't even a problem. The only thing that holds them back is how they would format it on their interface. These small changes always make them nervous.
The actual future of Tavern Brawls: They will continue to do one per week, often recycled, occasionally new. Each week there will be players who like it and players who don't, and that's OK because Team 5 has more important things to worry about.

200+ brawl wins per week???????????? I feel like most people play them for the free pack and then dip out.
Most people play for the pack and go back to grinding in Ranked. But there is a big community who play the constructed brawls seriously. The experience is very similar to the first week in Ranked with a new exp actually. Trying to figure out the meta, countering it and constantly adapting and teching. It can be a ton of fun :D

Sadly you don't seem to have more important things to do, than to search out a part of the forum reserved for a mode you don't like, and comment on it.
Good luck in Ranked.

This is a good idea. I personally hate the creative ones, but as long as I have the option to avoid them that's fine by me.
replace tavern brawl with tournament mode
