It's currently one of the only decks keeping Paladin in check. Loving the paladin tears. It also has a strong counter in warrior which is one of the best decks in the game so it's never going to be rampant.
But yes I do think that once balance changes come the team need to keep this deck in mind.
Hunter is difficult for paladin too. I've lost plenty against it as paladin and won against paladin with it.
Sick of playing against this spell damage shaman that just consistently wins either turn 6 or turn 7. I can be at 30 health, they drop two spell damage minions and chain spells to deal 30+ from hand. Broken. So difficult to even interact with, besides running garbage tech card that overall make your deck worse how do you deal with it..
Couldn't agree more. This super toxic deck doesn't give you a fair chance and needs to go. Waiting for a nerf that hopefully makes it unplayable. Any deck that goes 100% face makes the game feel like shit and shouldn't be viable.
Would kind of tech would even work against them? You don't have anything that removes all spells from their hand.
I don't like playing against paladin but at least you can use taunts to counter massive charge minions. With shaman it's direct to face, end of story. 'Little obnoxious' is a bit of a euphemism.
Except that's not the case, you just don't want to run the tech in your deck.
Both Cult Neophyte and Speaker Stomper played when the Shaman used their Flash of Lightning turn will prevent the otk and likely win you the game because they'll be behind so much. Decks such as wheel warlock already have started using Speaker Stomper.
Like I said as well some decks counter others, that's how it has always been. The deck loses to decks that pressure hard early and warrior.
If you're seeing it a lot and don't want to run tech then change your deck, your fav deck doesn't need to be able to beat everything that's not how it works.
It gets hard countered by control warrior which I see probably more than any other deck in legend right now as well as decks that can snowball early like hunter and DH.
I do appreciate it can feel a little obnoxious to face if you don't have the tools but it's nowhere near the worst out there.
Hunter you say? I've played hunter a lot on diamond 4-2 and I've lost to nature shamans like 90% of the time. They can easily remove your board of weak minions.
So I finally reached 1000 wins with deathknight (the last class for me) and now I’ve started to play this deck to see the weaknesses from the other side. Hunter should beat it a lot of the time. Paladin can beat it if they get the nuts by turn 6/7 but generally this beats paladin. And with the nerfs today probably even more consistently. Warrior is beatable with a good starting hand too. Killed a warrior on turn 5 the other day
The nerf to thralls gift doesn’t even hurt this deck very much. I replaced it with one more copy of spell damage minion and one copy of the 1 mana, unlock your mana crystals and deal that much damage. Only got in four games as I’ve been working but won them all.
Sad to read that shaman is that good in standard, too. Changed from wild to standard, cause I was sick of shaman. Evenshamans feels bad playing against, if they have a good earlygame. Big Shaman is annoying, too. But what I really hate is this silly Shudderwockdeck. It just feels bad playing against it. Nearly every Shamandeck is a cancer for me, cause it just isn‘t funny to play against no matter what they are playing. This class at whole is so stupid. I meanwhile hate shaman more than priest and that is quite something.

You play exactly like the devs intended it.

<slowly slides his Murloc Shaman deck back into the pile>
