I had always wanted a control meta and now I occasionally question that notion. Some games are really fun, but ones where it’s Blood DK and you know it’s a 30 minute game, or control priest (neither of which have a particularly impressive WR), it feels tedious.
overall though, I think the game is in an awesome place. Cool cards (Titans), BG is great, and Twist is an awesome addition,
I enjoy the meta, and I wouldn't say that it's a control meta. The best performing decks are for the most part not control, and the most popular overall archetype is midrange. But we are seeing more control decks than usual because the archetype is more viable than it's been in years, so on top of the die-hard control players that play it even when it is weak, we are also seeing other players try it out because the winrate is actually decent.
However, even if control isn't the most popular or the strongest you might still be spending the most time playing against that archetype since those games tend to be on average quite long. I also think really low-curve aggro decks that win really early are a bit underrepresented right now which further skews games towards being longer.
I'm bored AF by decks right now though. The mini-set was extremely low impact so I'm eager for the next expansion.
For me it`s kind of boring.
I am Dia 5 to 3 at the moment and all I face are spell heavy control decks with 0 mana Yoggs.

You get 0 mana yogg playing rogue and druid primarily which aren't exactly control decks. What are you playing?
offtop: do you get free packs for such comments?
