Turn 5: my opp (Rogue) has the board full with 5/5 and 5/8, all of them with the ghoul-deathrattle plus his 4/2 weapon.
I mean......wtf
I´m not complaining (well, maybe a little bit...), but what I want to say: often (not in every matchup, but in most of the top-tier decks) HS feels like a weird game, in that you are watching your opp playing some crazy factoriolike-combos, while you´re drinking coffee or watching TV. GG, goodbye, next. In these games HS lost the feel (and the soul) of playing a card-game. That´s disturbing and no fun at all.
What do you guys think? I know, this is not a new insight, but it´s getting worse, imo.
Are you implying that other card games don't have crazy combos? "I'm not complaining, but..." even the title of the post is a complaint. You'll have to simply adjust or find a game you enjoy playing more. This is the first Xpac in a while that I haven't bought the tavern pass, now that BGs has its own, I will most likely just focus on that. Also keep in mind the Xpac just launched, there will be routine nerfs in roughly 2 weeks or so like always, don't dust anything just yet!
Oh, sorry. It's because you are drinking coffee and watching TV. You cannot do this while playing card games like Uno or Solitaire. I'd recommend switching to 2% milk or perhaps ginger ale, and turning the TV volume down so it's less distracting.
i mean yeah but the same goes for literally any other DIGITAL card game except for pokemon. Digital card games change the rules about how a TCG feels in the online envoirment. Yes. But that is not bad, its actually what keeps all this games (LoR, Marvel Snap, HS, even MTG and YuGiOh in some dregee) alive. People dont want to play the old "i play, you play i play, you play, i see 4 moves in the future on my first play i win" anymore.
You should learn reading carefully. My post is about, that HS may has lost the FEEL of a card-game.
And rememeber. Not everybody plays a game like you obviously. Sitting in a dark room, nobody around...
Maybe play on a touch-screen? That allows you to interact more closely with the cards cause you actually have to touch them that way. But just a fair warning, they still will not feel like cards, mostly just like a cold piece of glass.
No offence. But the answers from zmauls are just some kind of bullying and not an adult reply to my post. So he started this little dispute. Not me.
I am bullying you? I'm sorry. I don't think I understand the problem you're having. To make it feel more like a card game you have to create an environment where people would play cards. Maybe if instead of a desk you started playing on a felt-top, like the ones they make for poker? Just trying to help.
Stop bullying him he's european and he is right about these kinds of matches.
At the same time though, it is unavoidable. If they are going to keep printing new and unique cards then more and more of these combos are going to appear. What Hearthstone needs is developers with a passion for making a fun experience. The people currently writing the solo content, designing worse and worse new game modes, neglecting arena and tavern brawl, don't have that passion. They'll just keep adding cards to the game and patting themselves on the back from under the thumb of Activision and their earnings quota.

Lul, it's not bullying. It's called levity. No one is being mean to you. He isn't harming you or intimidating you at all. He is giving logical, funny answers to your "problems". Learn to lighten up. He's right, it's digital renderings.

If you look closely you will notice that there are no cards, only digital renderings on a computer screen. I noticed this weeks ago.
Read my post again. But...it´s not given to everyone...

That's you. Don't be that guy.

Not everybody plays the game like any individual.
But majority do play in a dark room with nobody within their vicinity.
