Opening 150 packs with gold. I have bought preorders of earlier sets, but this time it was easy to save up gold with all the special events this summer :)
Unfortunately amazon coins aren't available in my country and I don't want to spend much more than 50 euros on one Hearthstone expansion so I only bought the regular preorder. Plus I'll craft a golden Whizbang the Wonderful when the expansion launches which will probably entertain me for quite a while.
Bought both, $0 spent. All Blizzard balance courtesy of Wow gold earned in game.
But you had to pay for WoW to get that gold :)
I haven't paid for wow since Draenor, haven't paid for game time since 2015. Purchased the last 5 Hearthstone card sets using Blizzard balance. Prior to that I used gold where I could (when it was just packs).
You, sir, are a true champion. You don't pay for games. You get packs for free.
Damn, you are almost a successful streamer and make money out of it too.
I bought the Mega Bundle and I'm thinking of buying the 50 dollar bundle as well. What I don't understand is why people are chastised for spending money on a game they enjoy. HS is the only game I play and I'm fine with spending money on it every 3-4 months. I see some F2P players saying they're F2P like it's a badge of honor.
I honestly don't care if anyone spends money on this game and neither should you.
Perhaps stupid question, but will 5,000 amazon coins get me the $50 bundle? No taxes? I can currently get those coins for $41 so that's not terrible...

If you're in the US there will be taxes (varies by state) so 5000 coins won't be enough. For me it was 5349 for the Witchwood pre-order and 8345 for the $80 Boomsday bundle but I got 200 off, so I assume the actual total with tax may have been 8545?
I considered buying the 50€ preorder, but without a decent Amazon coins deal I won't be spending any money on this expansion. 50 bucks let alone 130 every 4 months for comparatively little content seems outrageous and hardly worth it. Having a deal around the 20-30€ range would be more reasonable for less committed players, but I guess their marketing team wants to cater more towards whales rather than casuals.
Spending 130$ on a f2p game EleGiggle.
Man like your attitude!
I play since beta and always use my golden miracle rogue deck since 2013.
I love it and also enjoy full goldens <3
Golden Heroes: 9/9
Legend: S14, S15, S16, S20
Paid 0 like now. At least I am not total convinced I will not purchase anything. Like now I am not even convinced about the 50€ pre-order

me me !!! ^^
The crux of matter is not whether it worths the money OBJECTIVELY, but whether you can afford and get the value of these bundles SUBJECTIVELY.
For some people, they can get $130 for highler psychological value somewhere else and would not bother to spend it on a game.
But for others, they might think $130 bundles are fun and worth every cents.
There is no right or wrong in whether buying the bundles.
Take it easy. Every lives are different.

Spending tons of money for game w/o any balance and slow nerfs.
One day this game will stop existing. I can't wait.
Oh, I forget $80 shitty skin

+1 here.

I could easily buy the 80$ but refuse out of spite, and got the 50$. I do not want a weak-ass mecha J-rax skin when ...
1) Original J-rax is considerably more awesome.
2) They won't sell me Khadgar and Tyrande.
If they try this BS again before offereing to sell me skins I do want I won't be pre-ordering at all. To say it irritates me is an understatement,.
Thanks a lot for the info!
Pure P2W Players ;) Thatf Fine, I have nothing to those types of players and weakness.
I did. I usually drop about 150 EUR every expansion anyway and having 2 guaranteed golden legendaries does not hurt, since I really like golden cards.
No shit bro. Consumer dissatisfaction usually is. From my point of view it's still a problem.
I did and I will be getting more packs on release.
