22 games, 19 shamans all with the Jade packet... Fuck this meta...
hmm.. if I face that I guess ill just have to get good at renolock. I don't see anything else that qualifies as a counter statistically. I'm assuming this is midrange instead of agro?
I have about 50/50 against jade shaman with C'thun druid... and I beat priest, mage, and renolock most of the time. but about a 10% win rate against pirate warrior....
Great. So, no midrange deck players should even fucking bother. Sickening. You're stuck playing stupid ass aggro or some annoying, completely non interactive Reno garbage. Terrific. Never mind that midrange decks are what this game should be pushing. You know, some board interaction. Some face attacking. Some decisions to actually make. God forbid. But nope, just dump your hand and buff your weapons or wait to draw Reno. Such skill intensive decks. Fucking joke.
Sir, you are playing it all wrong if you say that playing vs reno is no decision making. You need a different deck than just curve. Mill Rogue fks Reno so hard you have no idea. And it requires A LOT of decisions. If you are up to the challenge play it. If not play your boring game
I believe he meant when he plays as a reno deck there was no decision making... I could see why that would be misunderstood though since it's such an outrageous statement.
I'm actually still facing slow decks (apart from 1 pirate warrior) but my results have tanked. I even lost a game with anyfin paladin against reno priest which i really shouldnt have. very minor mistakes, but enough to cost me the game. I think the decks i faced were. 1 pirate warrior, 1 reno warloc, 2 reno priests (1 was an OTK type), and 1 reno mage

Seriously? You mention boring and then go onto say that I should play mill rogue? Huh? Mill decks are the definition of boring. What's the point? There isn't a less interactive deck than a mill deck other than maybe freeze mage. Not saying all decks have to be just curve but my goodness.... a MILL deck? Yeah right. I'd rather watch the leaves change color. The entire point is to try to have FUN playing the game which means it doesn't matter if you win all the time or even half the time. It means that you get some enjoyment out of it. For me, that's a combination of trading minions, using spells, making some decisions and stuff like that. Mill decks and most of the other popular meta decks right now don't allow such things. Period.

Everyone has their own definition of fun. i like to see their deck burn. And i don't care about winning/losing. Legend is worthless to me.
Ok mill decks may not use that many minions, but they use A LOT of spells.
And about decision making. There is way more to a mill deck than just ''Throw coldlight oracle''. It is the way you go about clearing their board efficiently and sometimes sacrificing some of your HP to get a better clear the next turn. No idea what you envision in no decision making in Mill Decks.
so atleast 2 of the 3 things you mentioned for enjoyment is what this deck has. But everyone has their own way.
imo hearthstone isn't made to be interactive. You can't even have a nice conversation without people saying ''get cancer'' or something like it.
Another thing is combo decks, people say there is no way to interact with those decks. But milling actually is a way to interact with them. You burn their combo and then they can't play it anymore. Not the most fun solution for your opponent maybe but atleast you don't die to a ''no fun'' combo.
Fair enough. Everyone likes what they like I suppose. Anything is better than pirates or obnoxious Reno decks so if I run into a mill deck it's actually fine. Nothing I'd play but well enough. :)
No but it sure encourages dickness and douchebaggery.
It's like the anti-interactive app of the new ages. When the forum's largest number of contributions thread is what is displayed below, you know you're screwed.
Just started this season. Instead of playing Pirate Warrior I decided to try meme deck aka Dragon Warrior. And it's not working - Renolocks everywhere. So I simply switched to Mid/Jade Sham. I removed pirates and spirit claws from the deck, but it still works. I added TTs/TGs and returned Lighting Bolts. But climb rate is slow.
If you want to climb faster - probably Pirate Warrior is a way to go, just cut second Small-Time and put some other burst instead. May be even second Naga could work. With Shaman nerfs it's the best deck by far.
Went from 20 to 13 playing zoo lock. Pirate warrior is a good deck and the nerf is a great example of a GOOD nerf. Dont forget that when blizz have nerfed cards in the past they killed certain decks.
went from rank 18 to 12 with silence priest today. Seems good. even beat a couple pirate warriors. (though there doesn't seem to be that many). faced a megaton of priest, a 5 or 6 jade druid's a few warlocks and a couple pirates.
Pirates and jade with a few murloc decks. Same as yesterday and the months preceeding. I guess this is it until Un'Goro :(
7 games at rank 6 yesterday with the changes and I faced 1 pirate warrior, 2 jade shaman, 1 jade druid, and 3 zoo.

I win due to skill and lose due to bad RNG. :D
