Rank are without any real value: if a bot playing Pirate Warrior could reach Legend in the old days, than Ladder can be translated in "play the more time-efficient aggro deck out there for more of the time possibile".
Congrats on making it, you're doing well so far. Rank 15 means you are in the top 30%.
I made it as well last month for the first time, and went to 12.
This month I reached it quite fast but have been stuck around here. Anyway, it's good to test some decks you make yourself, as you can't drop lower when you reach it.
I'd like to restate the time piece people have mentioned. Time is such a big factor in high-rank play. I'd consider myself "good" at Hearthstone. I've been playing since just after the release of GvG, and have every card I could possibly need, and enough dust to be labeled "disposable," which is to say if a card I'm interested in comes out I don't need to think about whether I can afford it. I just craft it because I can.
Now for my point; I have only reached legend 3 times. I teach high school, and the only reason I was able to achieve that rank was because it was during the summer. During the school year, I really can't expect to do much better than rank 10. I simply don't have the time. "Is 15 good?" is really a contextual question. Are you unemployed and playing Hearthstone for 8 hours a day? If so, 15 is awful. Are you a deep sea fisherman who gets 4G for about 10 minutes a day when you're in just the right spot? If so, 15 is absolutely incredible. Do you see my point?
What about for some one who started played a month ago? I've invested like 100$ on packs and karazhan. And the rest has been grind. Last month I got the 20 reward back, gone fishing. Today I hit rank 15 and was real excited and proud. I don't know many players so anyone who want to jump on my friend list I'd greatly appreciate. So far I have one who rage quit cause of the RNG. I'm still going strong and am going for 10 now. Btw got to 15 with just one deck. Spell Hunter....
would be happy to friend you, but you need to put your ID.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

Good job getting to rank 15. Its better then most of the people that troll around at 20-16.
Ranking up from 15-5 takes some skill and play time.
5-legend takes less skill more time, if a deck gets you to 5 it can get you to legend, just a matter of playing a lot.
