Whilst Warrior is easily the toughest class to get 9 wins with, Mage choice of cards seems designed purely to be bumfunning you.
Like a bad day going through international Customs.
nb - this is based purely on my experience of international travel and dungeon runs. And at least after sticking 2 un-lubricated hands up your back passage the dungeon run allows you to try again. With no prejudice.
I have just finally won mage using a full hero power deck with ring of justicar and stealth to my minions, try it out it just steamrolled the dungeon :P
I agree with OP. All the other classes (except Warrior which I haven't tried yet) took me at worst 5 runs but I'm at 8 runs with Mage and OMG it's terrible. If I don't get my hand on either Spell Damage +3 or improved Hero Power+Inspire synergy stuff I can't go past the 5th boss...
Mage was by far my toughest as well. I had 90 boss kills before my first completion. Either I got bad draws on treasure's/decks or I would have an amazing deck that steamrolled everything, then I would run into Azari and he would eat all of my good cards. I finally ended up winning by fatigue against the Shadow with a kinda amalgamation of a deck, but it had Arcane Giants and Frost lich Jaina.
Every other class gets to 7 wins easily. Mage is just so bad and you're lucky to win 4/5 before running into a wall/boss that was made to counter every single thing Mage can do. It's the only class I haven't beaten Dungeon Runs with and I'm about to give up
I got Wax Rager, double health and Jaina DK control shell around that and I was basically immortal.
Was my first run too. I had a lot of trouble with rogue though (60 kill until i finally competed it)
If you know the right combos it could make the run easier
Here is a list of combos I used to win this run:
Cloack of invisibility and magical armour is good every hit doing one hit is pretty useful and magical armour can't be hit by minions so it should help on almost every boss.
Exodia mage is what I used to beat king toggle woggle just bring magic mirror and copy your sorcerers apprentice. Usually you want to pick magical friends when you can with cloack of invisibility.

Gloves of Mugging and the +3 Spell Damage helped out a LOT. Fatigued The Darkness and chipped him down with the Hero Power.
