As someone who always loved to play Quest Mage in wild Open the Waygate, i was excited to try it in heroic duels.
So i made a deck, just as every Quest Mage deck in duels. I figured that Embercaster might fit well, since it gives me 3 copies of spells i can use to fullfill the quest. What i didnt think of and was even a little surprised, that you can use it for the quest itself.
So basicly, you can play Embercaster and triple your Time Warp. Yeah basicly thats it, after that you play alone for the rest of the game. Thats why the title says "funny", its definitely for me, but not so much for the opponent.
Yeah, it's pretty gross either way. Fun for me, not so much for my opponent. BUT, you have to stay alive until turn 10 or 9 (if you have the "cards didn't start in your deck cost 1 less, but not less than 1" passive) or other cost reduction means AND have three slots open in hand.
