Meta Snapshot is a tier list made by the famous e-sports team Tempo Storm. They update it every now and then and this time, Aggra Shaman is number 1 of the tier list, leaving decks like Secret Paladin, Midrange Paladin and Midrange Druid behind. Your opinions?
tempostorm has a tendency to make very flashy calls on their tier list, I think they just want to differentiate from the more conservative (and in my opinion better) list from LiquidHearth ... this time around they really overstepped it in my opinion. Aggro Shaman is good, but not hte best deck, I am fairly positive about that...
anyway, people are playing all aggro this beginning of month and I am having a blast with my patron warrior: Funny games and an incredible winrate at the same time ... nice thing ;)
@madmuncher: this also might be a reason to even be more flashy ;) it is flashy to the benefit the overloard of salt himself ;)
I hatte it but i also love it. Shaman had always a hard time in constructed, but now after 22 months he has its Comeback. And i like him more then face hunter vor controll warrior. Cause harisson has bis Comeback true. Meta changes and changes. Thats the thing we love about heartstone.
The only shit thing about the current meta is, that mage isnt that good anymore. Only freetz mage is viable, but everyone run kezans...
I've come across some cancerous decks in my time: Mech Mage, Face Hunter, Undertaker Hunter, Aggro Paladin, and finally, I thought Secret Paladin was the cancer of the cancer.
Watching a lot of streams today, aggro Shaman is everywhere. But seem a bit inconsistent for me, esp the overload effect. Doomhammer is the key card I think, have to draw it to win game.
I see Museum Curator has a lot to do in the near future; as so many Doomhammer now belongs in the Museum. Deck seems strong but also inconsistent. But i see a glimmer of hope for Control Priest if Shaman goes upwards.
I was always wondering how this so called "meta snapshot" is created and evaluated, since there are no actual official data coming from Blizzard. There never was any disclaimer about the limited objectivity value on Tempostorm's site (if there was, I didn't see it, sorry). And with this incredibly premature and silly estimation, I believe they are trying to create a new meta by hyping their own deck creations rather than describe it.
It's an unfortunate change from their previous more conservative snapshots that were close to what people were actually seeing. Quite a few eyebrows were raised with this, and with new discussions on how limited and biased their data collection is, it's good to see attention on that subject.

there is no "data collection" - it basically just is what the panel considers to be the best deck! Even in the patron heydays, where both ranks, Liquidhearth and Tempostorm had patron on 1, Patron was never even close to be the most played deck in the high ranks of ladder, baring probably top 20 legend ... it is just an opinion, albeit an opinion by people whose opinion is a very informed opinion... Still, as I stated earlier, TempoStorm was always the power rank that went for the flashy calls, this time the call is probably just plain wrong and born out of the desire to get people to talk about their site ... as we all demonstrate they accomplished this aim pretty well ;)
Reynad used it on his stream, claimed it was OP [he played like 5 games using it when I saw] suddenly it's top of TS's bias meta. I don't think anyone outside of TS fanboys take their lists seriously. I don't think they have ever been spot on about the meta either.
Remember, this is the same guy who thinks that the bland, cheap looking yet way over priced pale blue T-shirts and hoodies with his name on it [seriously ... who's ever wearing that?? :/ ] are high end fashion.

errr how are you going to discover a battlecry card with a deathrattle discoverer? :P
I think it was very strong for a few days because people were testing out new cards which tends to result in slower/non optimized decks that aggro can take advantage of. They can also out aggro other aggro decks in first week of ladder because they can defer some of the cost on their last turn to a turn that never happens with overload. Finley and Tunnel Trogg gave it a nice boost too replacing a crap hero power and giving some extra benefit to overload.

Actually, there is some data collection happening - the players of the team use Track-o-Bot and combine the stats. Or it is supposed to be like this - there is no real transparency. In the Reddit discussion (https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/3vqaba/tempo_storm_meta_snapshot), it is also mentioned how Track-o-Bot can give false results as well.

he means as a story the curator would work much now that so many doomhammers gets harrisson jonesed to the museum, its a joke
Oh, derp. I just wasn't thinking about it that way. Yeah, seems obvious now.
I wonder if this deck will be enough to force Harrison back into the meta, the last time he was prevalent it was to prevent a whirlwind on Patrons which was game-changing.
It's a very good deck. I was playing Secret Pally the other day and I started getting crushed by multiple Aggro Shaman decks. (not to mention some control priest)
So, I thought I'd dust off my Dragon Priest deck to see if that could counter Aggro Shaman.
Nope. Just lost to it. All my taunts, all my life gain. Worthless. I had lethal on the board and 13 life and it was nothing to live another turn. I'm still searching for a counter. I might try to tweak my dragon priest deck, because I quite enjoy playing priest. But, I can say for certain that Aggro Shaman if for realzies.

Some people give too much credit for TempoStorm. Way too much.
Always Squelch.

Tempostorm is a joke. I read their website as a joke website, not for in depth analysis and insight.

i'm SICK OF THIS AGGRO META SICK. What is the best deck to kill Shamans, Druids and tempo mages? Thats what we need.
