I'm not sure if it's just me but, after Un'goro and Knights, this expansion is just not that good. Maybe the previous two expansions set the bar too high. At least I have dungeon runs to look forward to.

Maybe wait for the rest of the cards, then wait some more to actually play with them. It might be, sure. But honestly until we get to play with the cards it's difficult to tell.
compared to the last 2 expansions, probably so, but i dont think its bad on its own rights, its just that legendary weapons as the hook aren't as exciting as quests, and much less exciting than death knight hero cards. granted, in the case of KFT, the death knights are among the top cards in the set, so by that measurement KaC can certainly be seen as underwhelming (perhaps the weapons will prove to likewise be very good cards, in which case that assessment may change some)

With the same amount of cards from KaC that got revealed ,KFT was going to be TGT 2.0 and people started giving negative predections, we waited and then we saw the whole set and most players who predict KFT to be TGT 2.0 changed their minds.
For now, KaC is having a better start than KFT by far
There's a thread like this every expansion. I wouldn't say Un'Goro was that great just because the majority of quests aren't even being played. We'll see as the rest of this set gets revealed.
blizzard started over with ungoro in the sense of giving new players (phone players) an easy time. ungoro represent midrange , frozen thrown control and this thing looks like it is gonna represent combo.
combo is where hearthstone really shines in my opinion, the other expansion has been lackluster for me as a regular since launch, the more cards to choose from the better :)
It's good to lower your expectation now so that when the expansion hits and the new meta arrives, you will be surprised and enjoy the game more. Following the previous trends, usually the last expansion of the year has the most impact and powercreep cards, 2014 was GvG, 2015 was LoE, 2016 was MSG, and now K&C.
if anything i like KaC better because a lot of the cards are hinting at different deck themes, which is fun deckbuilding, which is why I play a childrens card game. I'm seeing many synergistic cards instead of ONE card that's supposed to be built around coughDeathKnightscough. I feel like there will be more consistent deck building because you will have multiple cards that follow a theme and synergise.

I agree. I think all the cards are really creative and will lead to cool decks. I'm glad its finally not a set of powercreep cards with OP stats. Can't we just have one expansion with fun cards without people complaining?
Thing is, a large portion of the community forget this is a children's game and tend to be over competitive, and pleasing them means releasing a Bonemare-esque card, whereas the people who really have fun building decks get Ticking Abomination-esque stuff.
In every single expansion there someone complains about the expansion or say things like meta wont switch. But guess what? Meta has switched everytime (execpt tgt but forget about that) and and it has been quite fun for first days. You guys should really wait until all cards are revealed..

I would give blizzard my house and all my money if they removed priest from the game.

Only about a third of the cards have been revealed. Its waaay too early to say anything yet.

Bar too high? The cards from those expansions are barely used.

Just ma 2 cents
.
Every single expansion without fail people are worried about the set being underwhelming before half of the cards are revealed. Every time.
Im tired as fuck with these posts.
