I'm reading they tax you on the coins so if you buy 5000 to pay for the expansion deal then you actually have to buy more than the 5000 to cover the expense. It actually costs you like 5245 or something, and they only sell in increments that don't benefit you that well and when you do buy extra to cover the tax costs you are left with a few useless coins.

It may be a good deal but it's kind of a bummer when you have to download to an android device

Is it confirmed you can use coins and get the cashback?

I've bought all Adventures and some packs with Coins. I've always paid the shown prices. They include taxes here in germany. So you pay, what you see.
