After playing a few more days with the deck my assessment is that questing is terrible. The 3 mana is a huge problem. Also, if you have auctioneer out you don't need it to win, if you don't have auctioneer you need to waste a conceal on him, then empty your hand to make him a sizeable threat and even then he probably still doesn't kill your opponent in one hit. I removed them for more cards that cycle and I'm considering testing 1 mana addict, although I'm not sure how that is going to work out.
PS. You might want to check Kolento's list, his build seems to have the same general goal than yours
I'm so glad there is prejudice against playing hunter/zoo/[insert FotM deck here]. People like that make the life so much easier for those of us who play to win.
@honj90 Auctioneer's purpose is not to kill your oponent, but to get your combo peaces. I saw kolento 30 to 0 priest in one turn with leeroy -> shadow step -> leeroy -> shadow step -> leeroy (coldblod) x2 -> premed -> evis
You really need to know how to play the deck since throwing away cards will result in like 20% win rate with this deck, and top players can get it to top legend. I'm really impressed by kolento memory of cards used in single game since he can predict a lot of his draws with shiv or fok and make huge plays none of us would come up with.
Im gonna take this deck and grind my rank this weekend okasionally swapping with druid control and hand lock. ( so far i was rank 4-5 getting more wins than loses with it)
Uhm, that was exactly my point, you don't need questing if you have an auctioneer out. Also, don't forget that auctioneer is a 4/4 that you can cold blood (for example 2xcold blood+ evisc+ auctioneer attack is 16 damage in one turn)

So this is where this is coming from. I was wondering why there were suddenly so many Rogues on ladder using 80% spells. The card draw from Gadgetzan Auctioneer is insane due to so many low cost spell cards.
It should be noted this deck is very poor against aggro decks which you will see a lot of before rank 5 or so. To be honest, this is more of a deck for legend push around rank 3 where it's mostly control decks.
having prep and vancleef in start hand is autowin vs rush decks, and overall you can defend quite well with fan of knives/bladeflurry/coldblood on nat pagle etc
Strongest deck in the game I think. Really advanced
Not at all, I can beat this deck with any deck it relies on luck of your opponent not having taunt hard removel minions or healing to pick up,
Those cards are in every deck...
Actually most of the effects you mentioned don't matter. The way to beat this deck is to kill them before they go off, else you probably loose.

I didn't say it's the best deck, I just pointed out that your "supposed counters" are not very relevant. It's a strong deck against control and it doesn't have a very good match-up against a lot of aggro decks.

Not in this meta when all druid are anti hunter with taunts and have hard removal.

Exactly, and that's why Kolento got EU rank 1 with that deck, because it has a very favorable match-up against druids.

well I guess so but ever other deck it sucks against
Watching Kolento's stream and he just lost against a Bumrush Hunter with the deck so I guess that's the only weakness I've seen so far when played at World Class level.
I've tried different variants always with gadgetzan x2, add a headcrack, remove it, add a sinister, remove it, then shiv then acolyte of pain for loot hoarder..
I don't understand coldlight, can someone explain how it is used?
The theory behind it is that you're a combo deck. Having your combo pieces (especially auctioneer) greatly increases your chances of success. That's why you're willing to play a sub-par card like coldlight to dig deeper into your deck and find them.

Current fun deck: Yogg-S'Thun Stone

making and making changes trying to rank up
Yep. This is the exact deck I'm using and it's working quite well.
No coldlight Oracle for me
Sometimes I change Acolyte of Pain for a DoomSayer or an Adventurer, or a Violet Teacher.
Or Arcane Golem. remove the Conceal But it's needed... so I'll take it back
2 Blade Flurry is necessary for one moment I thought I wasn't but it is.
I think that deck can be better
