Just to let you guys know, flare does not work against these paladins. If you run flare, matchmaking will make sure that you never run into an opponent with secrets in their deck. This is a proven fact.
The likelihood of that being proven as a fact is about the same as the Earth being proven to be shaped like an ice cream cone.
Sure, as long as your favorite "I don't have any creatures to beat you with so I'll steal yours instead" pussy class is disabled as well, I'm all for it.
Finally someone who gets it as well. The real problem is Priest haha.
Christ on a bike riding backwards - it's been 10 days since TGT was released!
Mysterious Challenger is a good card verging towards the very good. The reason is that the Paladin secrets are not that great. If someone runs a deck with 2 Mysterious Challengers and 12 Secrets then that is fine by me. I will happily beat it and then laugh at why someone would spend 14 of their 30 cards just to be able to activate this ability twice. Paladin secrets are relatively easy to play around as more than one goes off at once if they have all of them up.
If you honestly cannot find any way to play around this card, then run Flare Hunter if you encounter this deck every other match.
Also, having made Legend doesn't make you the shit. We don't all need to bow to the superior knowledge that Legend players have over us mere mortals and - unbelievable as it may seem - you too can make mistakes.
Actually the least played classes (correct me if I'm wrong) - Shaman - Priest - Paladin (not looking at Eboladin...) got a huge chunk of love from Blizzard.
Paladin will be really interesting to experiment and, mark my words, is gonna be top notch in the meta.
I'll just quote myself here :)
/e: it was one day before the release when I posted it, if I'm not mistaken

I'm a little embarrassed to have forgotten that secrets do actually have counters. In my defense, Flare has been generally worthless until TGT because no one runs Mage Secrets anymore.
Yeah play around 6 different possible secrets. Yeah right
Sure. I attack with a 1/1 and then silence the guy who just got buffed. GG / Well played. Or play any one of forty-five AOE spells available... it's not hard.
I'm just another one of those. You know, those who do things. Things that need to be done by those that do these things in order to do those things that don't do these things themselves. Has the word 'things' lost meaning to you already?
I obliterate secret paladin as freeze mage. Or as Handlock. Or most of control decks. Actually quite cool to see a a new deck rising. And to me it'seems not even close to patron. However fun deck and very good meta for me thanks to it!
Waaaa, the meta's changed yet I refuse to counter it, PLEASE BLIZZ NERF THAT OP DECK, there's no new netdecks I can copy to fight the new meta so instead of doing anything on my own, here I am on the forums.
Yes, let's disable an entire class because you lost to a Secret Pally. Or rather lets disable a class because you don't like 1 card out of the hundreds of cards in HS. I laughed so hard at this post, I decided to see if he posted anything else this funny. I was not disappointed. On the thread "What you do when you beat a Face Hunter", he writes,
"This game is no longer about strategy or outplaying your opponent, it's all about how fast you can hit face. So you try to play a taunt deck, but by the time your big taunts are out, he's smacked you in the face for 15. Then when you play them, they get silenced because every face player runs Ironbeak. It's gotten even worse in the case of Aggro Pally's with Murlock Knight."
LOL. And on another thread entitled "Eydis Darkbane worth crafting?", the OP writes,
"Hi there, I play mainly Priest (Dragon as of now)"
This was posted 3 days ago, around the time Reynad developed his Dragon Priest deck and these types of decks flooded the meta. I've seen a lot of Dragon Priests lately and while I consider it to be a fun new deck that is innovative and balanced, some might call it cancerous due to the large number of people playing it at the moment. Kinda like the Eboladin and Face Hunter decks he calls cancerous and then fights to eliminate...
I think the key to beating this deck is knowing the secrets and attacking in the right order. I've beaten it with a mid-range pally multiple times in a row at this point.

Not sure why you're attacking me directly as a person, when I've never done the same to anyone. Why not talk about the topic instead of using ad hominem to make my argument appear invalid?
months of grim patron QQ and hate. tgt comes. patron is still up there. secret pally the new deck pretender for the throne, but not there quite yet. everyone cries for nerf on secret pally 1 week after TGT. so i guess hs community likes to qq about any kind of cards/decks constantly.
Patron anyone? D:

hello
So much salt and I am out of popcorn :(
TIL Blizzard monetizes cancer via hearthstone.
Let's be constructive here. I'm sure you know how to play chess and tic-tac-toe but what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.

[Game] Name another card that has the same...
What card would you cut, though?
Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.

I hope this has been brought up, but, no we cannot disable paladin class. We cannot do anything. We are not blizzard.
