I'm playing allot of Midrange Paladin these days, and it's doing very well!
However, the one spot in games where I feel I am not making correct (or at least informed) decisions is on turn two when I have both Shielded Mini bot and Knife Juggler in my hand.
I'm never sure which one to play: In general, it feels like Knife Juggler is more of a Gamble play, but could some experienced Pally folks talk about that decision and what factors you take into account when making it?
what factors you take into account when making it?
Which class do I play against?
How does the rest of my deck look like? (ex, am I running Coghammers?)
What are the remaining cards in my hand?
Do I have the coin?
Even with all of the above answered, it's still not always an easy decision since you can often not tell which deck you play against. For example, if I knew for sure that the Warlock flashing on my screen is a Handlock, I wouldn't hesitate to drop the Juggler. It might get Darkbombed, but it also sets him back on mountains, which is exactly what I want if I don't have an answer already in my hand.
I have put allot of thought into this, and I know stuff about who I am playing against and what cards I include in my deck factor in - I was just looking to hear some other players talk about their thought process on this.
I really feel like this turn / decision really makes or breaks allot of games.
Here is a common turn / choice that comes up - please tell me what you guys do:

Here is a common turn / choice that comes up - please tell me what you guys do:
3. Ping and kill the Knife Juggler with the wyrm, keeping The Coin in hand (he has mostly mid to late game cards in hand).
4. Play an Unstable Portal + kill both KJ and the wyrm (most likely he does not have a frostbolt or flamecannon in hand).
5. Play The Coin + a secret (mirror image, counterspell) + kill both KJ and the wyrm (he does not have a good hand and wants to win time).
---
So, what is the best option? Most probably this start means he had a good start with the wyrm, and you had a bad start (I would not keep KJ in mulligan against a mage, unless I suspect it may be a frost mage). I would most probably play the KJ, because it can bait a removal or have the possibility of killing the wyrm, both of which mean it's at least a 1-to-1 trade. But I am afraid the game would mostly depend on his drops from there on and not on yours.

Shielded Minibot against pretty much evereything and Knife Juggler against Hunter, Handlock and Paladin if you have a turn 3 Muster for Battle.
Thank you for the replies guys.

Opponent is a Mage:
You go first and pass.
Mage plays Mana Wrym and passes
You have a knife Juggler: Do you play the Knife Juggler (when obviously he has a spell) or do you play a guy (then all he has to do is Ping it).
What do you do in this spot against Tempo mages?
I heal people to death
Think about his hand. You say "obviously he has a spell". Does he? Most probably yes, either a Frostbolt or a Flamecannon.
So, what would be your advantage of playing a token? Let's see what he can do:
1. Play an Unstable Portal + kill your guy with the wyrm (he may as well have a frostbolt or flamecannon in hand).
2. Play The Coin + a secret (mirror image, counterspell) + kill your guy with the wyrm (he does not have a good hand and wants to win time).
3. Ping the guy and attack face (he has a frostbolt or a flamecannon).
4. Play a minion (i.e. Sorcerer's Apprentice) and kill your guy with the wyrm. (He probably has a Flamewaker in hand).
What would be the outcome of playing a knife juggler? He can do the following:
1. Play Flamecannon and hit face for 2, keeping The Coin in hand.
2. Play Frostbolt and hit face for 2, keeping The Coin in hand.
