I am current playing this deck, but I can only obtain a 50/50 win rate or something like that. I'd hope to perform better, now I am trying to find out if there is something wrong with the deck, or if I simply just play it wrong.
I'd say dump one of the flares. Reason is that not every deck has a secret and sure the card draw is nice but think you can get a better card draw if thats what you need. Second of all I'm not a fan of having the Stonetusk Boar since it is a 1/1 and have charge. You have unleash for charge and 1/1s are easly pinged. I'd use like 2 snake traps for that one insted and if you play snake trap round 2 (1 with coin) and play a Starving Buzzard the next round the possibility to draw 3 cards is amazing.
Well it's food for thoughts atleast! Hope to see some respons about your thoughts on it!
THanks for the input. I get your point about the boars.. I have also thought about removing them - however, they're nice for drawing cards with the buzzard in the turn before my big hit - and I can't afford snake traps atm.. I'm short on dust and gold - but I will definately look into it, once I get richer :) .
I personally like the boars, you can often get a TimberWolf + Boar out very earl turn 1 or 2 and get some damage rolling. Not to mention if you can get a turn 1 buzzard into play, 1 drops make for some nice early card draw with another Boar + TimberWolf, increases odds of 1 drops for that. Snake trap you have to wait for your opponent to trigger and hope the buzzard lives that turn and doesn't work as often as a buzzard and several boars+Timber wolfs but so fun when it does happen to be sure.
I agree probably just 1 flare, but I really love the card in general just because you can be 1 draw from winning or losing and it increases the chances you have to draw. I am not a huge fan of misdirection, I like it but I prefer to play more beefier beast minions such as Tundra Rhino, The Beast, Stampeding Kodo, Stranglethorn Tiger, and Core Hound (not all at once of course), so I opt out of MD's entirely. Love Snipe, if you can get that early you can ping some of there mid game guys real effectively and just wreck any idea's they had recommend to keep at least 1 in. I am not a fan of Tracking, love the mechanic hate the card loss, I'd rather risk that spot for more low cost minions to chain my buzzard honestly.
To me your deck feels like if your opponent has taunt minions out fairly regularly you are using to much damage to deal with them and probablylosing many of your minions as well. I know everyone likes to say UTH is OP but charge+damage on low health minions don't do much when there is a few taunts up and you can't get rid of them before hand or with abilities.
Maybe try fitting in a few Mid range beast minions or some Houndmasters for the +2/+2 and taunt effect which are very nice.
Pretty basic UtH build. I like it a lot but it does fall apart if you cant keep anything on the board or if they wipe you; i.e. Flamestrike, Consecrate, Starfall, etc.. I would like to try a build like this with a Knife Juggle on the board and slam out a few 1 mana cards. easy way to ramp damage and clear the board of the other guy/gal's cards.
I have now tried with 2xjungle panthers instead of some multishot/deadly shot. If your opponent leaves your stealthed unit unharmed for a round or two, you can execute him with ease, with just a dragonhawk, unleash and some timber wolves..
