I like the Lorewalker cho suggestion, but I need moar dust! D:
I am not trying to protect Mana Wraith at all, he's only a 2/2 2nd turn drop designed to stall the opponent while I get ahead in mana and it acts as a pseudo-taunt. I don't care if he lives or not, really, he buys me another turn usually.
I understand that deathwing and alex don't like being summoned by the bot, their abilities are strong when you do play them from your hand, so I try to normal summon when I can for their effects... but spending 3 mana to get an 8/8 or 12/12 next turn is scary for the opponent. The bot is also summoning other strong taunters, and it's always something big or bigger being unleashed with every passing turn.
The idea is that the taunts are there to block damage to my hero, and prevent attackers from hitting my alarmobot. Silence is still a problem though, Lorewalker will help with that a bit.
I did struggle against some rogues especially. Their minion removal is just ridiculous. Mark of nature I kept because it was an additional attack buff to assist the taunters to kill any strong 3-5 drops with 4 HP. Some rogues I've played against ended up using all their utility on my taunters so they can get their weenies through... which left the board open for Ragnaros and Gruul to do their thing for a few turns while they wait for their next silence/kill draw.
What's the best thing you have pulled before using alarmobot :P did it get removed after or did you go on to win with it? Also if you pull ragna, does his 8 damage effect get used?
