When I first saw Mimiron's Head (when GvG came out) I fell in love with that card. But I know it's hard to create/summon V-07-TR-0N , so I was wondering was this card ever useful? I love whole mech tribe and I think that it's a really fun card (OG Exodia), but when GvG came out, I couldn't create this card (I was poor f2p bastard) and now Idon't want to spend dust on wild legendary. I am just curious, 'cause I was always attracted to this card.
Not really, there were a few fun gimmicky decks - but nothing that was ever consistent enough to see regular play. I remember playing a rogue version that utilized cheap mech minions and stealth.
Probably still the best animation of the game though!
As TheFFsage said, Mage Quest makes Mimiron's Head somewhat playable. Spare Part generation from the mechs helps you complete the quest, and then you play some cheap mechs like Target Dummy, plus Mimiron, and skip the turn. Two Molten Reflections can make it a OTK.
You can argue the Archmage Antonidas Exodia Mage is objectively better, but I'll always say V-07-TR-0N is much more fun.
Exodia Mage is the one of the most powerful decks ever. Period. But for me (and almost everyone else) is not that much fun deck to play. But, I like Mech tribe and I think that V-07-TR-0N could be useful.. If certain conditions are met. But I never really played this card, so I wanted to see what you guys think.
