Golden Priest here! I would wait until Un'goro release to spend any dust. Raza definitely isn't even mandatory, it's just one of those cards that you might as well run it because why not? :D

I crafted him at the opening day of Gadgetzan in hopes of a viable shadowform deck.
While fun, the Highlander shadowpriest became less successful after the opening weeks, as the increasing number of dragon priests and pirates made things difficult.
Kripp's OTK (Chansey Priest) is a nice challenge and can win games out of the blue for you, but you'll almost always get the right combination on the last card in your deck. It's also going to be a wild-only deck in a few weeks.
I don't regret crafting Raza (yet), but I wouldn't recommend it.
Depends if you play Standard or Wild. I play lots of Wild so I have no regrets crafting Raza, a Reno/N'Zoth/Amara deck has the potential to be ridiculously powerful in Un'goro.
If you play only Standard it's probably worth a miss, Reno will be gone soon.
I think it definitely is, in Standard I think only Raza and Kazakus are good enough to make a Reno deck, for Priest at least. I crafted him a while ago and he's a must have in any Reno Priest. And Reno Priest isn't bad at all.
It depends on if you strictly play to win or play to have fun (I know, it's subjective). I play almost purely reno shadowform decks and I have surprisingly good success in both standard and wild but 1) I've been playing these decks forever, and 2) I'm sure my win-rate could be slightly higher with some "better" decks. Nonetheless I do climb with these kinds of decks at around a 55% win-rate.
Not to mention Raza is also viable in decks that don't run shadowform and is amazing in combination with Justicar Truehart. In any case, it's not a bad card and I personally find it being an improvement to a deck more often than not. Save your dust until the expansion though as who knows, he might become completely obsolete.
I mainly play priest and I think the card look good, but the deck doesnt look that good.
In Wild, Reno Priest is probably the best deck, most people that are Legend there that I know got it with it. If you play Wild then craft it without second thoughts, impossible not to get Legend if you play a lot and Raza easily heals 10+ per match at 5 mana 5/5...
If you play Standard only it's really bad to make it cos of rotation in like 2 weeks and Reno Priest, even tho playable, is nowhere near insane like in Wild.
There is no such thing as a safe craft one month before an expansion. Why do these same questions keep popping up? It should be pretty obvious that losing a few hundred cards and gaining a few hundred cards means you can't possible predict whether an existing card will be useful or not.

Too greedy imo, wait for the new expansion, highlander/death-rattle/greedy priest could be a thing!
makes sense. I'll just do that.

At the opening day of Gadgetzan Raza was good, but now - wait for the new expansion
