So we all know that some people take out nzoth and c'thun decks every now and then from WOTOG.... I think most of them will die because of jade golems apart from c'thun cycle warrior, and c'thun rogue with some smart sapping and blade of c'thun.
But a control'zoth paladin will stand no chance against this unending tempo, like srsly. how could you contest it. Pyro-equality will get taken wayyyy too fast.
As for the others; do they really think grimey goons will be able to keep up with that tempo unless its an aggrodin? or Kabal; despite their numerous removals; to even contest the steady flow? It just seems like rn Jade Lotus will have an innately more powerful curve

By "Tempo" (definition : trying to have maximum results from minimum involved mana and card costs) and "Curve" (definition : playing one or more card which total cost is exactly your available mana for this turn) you means a 2/3 for 4 mana, a card which ask for combo trigger, a 3 mana ramp which jump you in 5 mana, wasting one with the 2/3, and a 4 mana blast, all of them summoning a 1/1 at early stage of the game ?
You might recheck your fears, because Jade clan members are not thought to be potentially strong for those reasons.
Except the fact that apart from a poor start, they can easily start to become powerful. Curve i mean more in the indirect, in that they can achieve an exponential stat line in the sense that sure, they start off poorly, but then they catch up and fly past every other. Jade spirit for example; if they have a 1 2 and 3 drop, then instead of it being a 3/4 for 4 mana at 1 card, 4/5 for 2, 5/6 on the 3rd, its a 6/7 when you play the jade spirit. for 4 mana. It is quite literally the FWF meme if that happens. and even if they don't druid innervate still makes it a very real possibility with their ramp.

so it's basically FWF done right because there's still a chnce they don't draw the pieces to ramp the golem in time, plus clearing him with weapons..in case he gets to Fwf stats is way less painful and more easily achievable.
The beauty of this expansion is how they seem to try to restore the natural balance of the archetypes.
It has always been the case that aggro beats midrange, midrange/ combo beats control and control beats aggro, but in the past aggro was so strong that they could often take on control as well. In this expansion, they made a midrange/ combo deck that is extremely powerful against control, but extremely weak against aggro. That's the jade lotus. They also made sure that control could easily beat any aggro deck with good AOE and healing for the Kabal and already existing control archetypes.
I'm not sure if the grimy goons are the aggro tribe here, as they also seem like a faster midrange deck to me for the most part, but with the jade lotus around, aggro hardly needs many tools to become viable again. To me the grimy goons seem very flexible, able to go aggro in paladin and maybe hunter, go midrange with hunter and warrior, and go control/ combo with warrior. Either way I think control will usually be able to prey on most grimy goon decks.
