So i just drew Anomalus from an arena card pack - and i have no idea what to with him. I got mage on lvl60, but usually only play tempo-oriented stuff where he clearly has no use, he doesnt seem to fit in freeze mage or other stuff either. Is the best option to just disenchant him? :/

I got him in one of my packs, and I keep it, because I keep all cards I don't have.
I tried him in a homemade Control and Reno Mage, but even there he was just bad and I took him out. This was when I was playing Wild, maybe he might a bit better in Standard mode. Maybe I will try to make a Standard Control Mage deck next season. This season I was busy with a Control Shaman I'm almost rank 5 with in Standard mode (yes, I started playing Standard, now I play both modes).
I believe it was that tavern brawl where you were allowed cards from two different decks...
Either way unfortunately I had to give up on Anomalus. Which is a shame, because although his effect is great and quite interesting, he's just painfully slow and truly doesn't work in Mage of all decks. Everything he can do, another combination can do better.
I got this guy recently too. See, his deathrattle needs to be battlecry. Right now, I just can't think of a good mage spell combo with him. I mean, the best you could do is exploit his 6 hp and use a fireball on him to clear the board. But that's using 2 cards to do nearly what 1 Flamestrike does for less. He also has bad synergy with N'Zoth, the Corruptor, since your opponent would just kill him presumably wiping whatever board advantage you got with N'Zoth.
So yeah, until new cards are released that synergize with him, he's fun but not good.

Not quite. 1 FS = 4 damage. Anomalus does 8. When used in conjunction with FB the total damage is 8 and total mana cost is 12 for using two cards. 2 FS also do 8 damage, but requires 2 more mana. So if it's used to clear bigger minions anomalus + fb is a lot better than 2x FS.
Sure atm one FS is usually enough, but that might not always be the case in the future.
Edit: If his deathrattle is a battlecry it would just be a waaay too overpowered spell instead of a minion
So, is it possible that Blizzard will change this card so i can get more dust out of it (or actually use it), or are only Classic cards affected by nerfs?

Except Anomalus does 8 to all minions and Flamestrike hits only your opponent's board.

@DireDoge: Forgot about that card for a moment, so yeah you're correct. He'd just be a spell then.
@Valiant: True, but you also wouldn't play Anomalus when you're ahead or close to gaining board control. I see it as one of those cards to play when you're behind, much like Yogg.

It's still not the most efficient mage board clear. I could do Frost Nova + Doomsayer in a single turn and have mana to spare. This is a great board clear without any legendaries involved.
It certainly isn't, though that was never the point I wanted to make. It's another tool to be used for yet another board clear - but would've been more efficient if Anomalus cost 2 mana less.

I've got him and have no idea how to make him work. Maybe some kind of freeze/burn mage variant... Lots of spells. And Yogg.
I just got Anomalus when an Effigy procced when my opponent killed my Ragnaros the Firelord right after using Call of the Wild.
I Fireballed Anomalus on my next turn, clearing the board. Made me win the game, so he can be excellent at times!
I believe he would've been a lot better if he were at 6 mana cost so you could combo him together with FB.

If his deathrattle were a battlecry, he'd kill himself immediately upon play.
Forgive me, friend. I have failed.
