Early on you can most likely afford to play this card without a worry, because I doubt my opponent wants to use all of his spells (that he managed to draw) in his/her 2nd or 3rd turn, because it will leave him open for more cunning minions I have. You might even use it as a retard magnet. Make him use his spells then play something even stronger.
Unless they keep a really strong spell in there hand at the start of the game. I wouldn't risk the chance of getting hit by Pyroblast or Avenging Wrath, or letting them use something like Sprint. The card will be changed though, so we'll see what they decide in Beta.
I'd gladly take a Pyroblast or an Awenging Wrath in the face, if that means next turn when I play Molten Giant or Ragnaros or whatever, then my opponent wont have any means to destroy these cards.
Ofc there are spells (like you said Sprint) that should be played whenever posible.
I don´t c what you mean? millhouse only makes opponents spell cost 0, what he means is if your enemy have artchmage out, that give him a fireball card every spell he does, hat means if you cast a fireball you get a fireball. if the spell then costs 0 mana you can just keep spamming until opponent is dead
Yes, but what the others and I talked about since the 2nd post, is the card itself. It's quite obvious that when I play against a magedeck, that kept playing + spellpower cards and only damaged me with spells, I wont play Millhouse Manastorm from my hand. But there are decks that doesnt have a lot of spell/ability cards, and a 4/4 for only 2 MC is good.
This seems like such an obvious trap card. The benefit to your opponent seems so much more pronounced then the benefit to yourself, why would you ever put this in your deck? Seems like this is a card that even the unaware only put into their decks once or twice untill they get destroyed by the effect, and then vow to never use again.
I suggest Blizzard remake this into the following:
Millhouse Manastorm, 3 mana for 4/4, If your opponent has not played a spell or minion from his hand in his last turn Millhouse casts Impending Doooooooooom.
Impending Doooooooooooooooooom, 0 mana, Deal 3 damage to a random enemy.

Everyone assumes, that the enemy has a million spellcards in his hand when you play it. It's a high risk, high reward card. I accept it, that unleashing several strong spells can be devastating, but if he doesnt have any, or if they are situational spells and not used (taunt, charge, silence etc.), then I just got a 4/4 for only 2 MC. I think if you get high manacost cards in your starting hand, you'll most likely re-pick those, as they have little use for you in the first turns.
I know what I'm saying is hypothetical, but let's be honest, its also hypothetical that when I play Millhouse Manastorm (esp if I can play it in turn 2-4) then my opponent can deliver fatal damage in one turn.
My turn: I summon Millhouse Manastorm;
Opp Turn: He has/summon Archmage Antonidas and uses any spell to get a Fireball then spam it.
Does it work?
Yep, DO NOT use Millhouse against a Mage xD

Just a mage? How about any class with a burn deck, and a handfull of powerful spells?
Yeah.....Millhouse needs to be changed. His effect is terrible....

They will probably make it 1 crystal or half cost or sth otherwise this tactics would be instant-kill

Millhouse Manastorm: Battlecry: The first enemy spell cost (0) next turn.
