I wonder if a Myra's Unstable Element / Chef Nomi deck will be a thing. It didn't work with Mecha'thun cause rogue can't realiably kill it but maybe with other unrevealed cards it might be a thing.
turn 1 coin kelaseth with the triple battlecry shrine shaman followed up by turn 6 triple battlecry mistcaller was the most soul crushing defeat I faced. hope that's gone.
If you get Sorcerer's Apprentice or Radiant Elemental from a totem or Fire Fly it's pretty much gg. A f^%?ing wisp can be 12/12 at that point. 0 cost cards might see play in evolve decks with this.
Buff to evolve effects (Nerf to devolve effects): Kobold Illusionist:The 1/1 works great with an Evolve deck. It is situational for devolve, as you can easily trade up but it might also give your opponent a chance to get a key card in play out of nothing, such as Malygos or Gadgetzan Auctioneer for a miracle rogue Hungry Ettin:Highroll Vulgar Homunculus:Highroll Grumble, Worldshaker:Small highroll
Depends on the situation: Drygulch Jailor:Depends if it mills or not, also you can get this off of the tokens' evolve as well making a chain reaction. It has higher chance to come up due to totems Kathrena Winterwisp:Depends if you have a beast you want to pull Arcane Artificer:Why would you evolve a 0 cost? But might be bad if your opponent can get the heal from it from devolve (most likely after Frost Nova+Doomsayer) Grizzled Guardian:Easier to kill than a typical 8 cost but you might value pulling smaller minions out of your deck at that stage in game, which would also improve your top deck. It can also screw up a quest mage type deck when gotten from devolve (from an Alexstrasza maybe) Benevolent Djinn:Nice value if you need the heal especially if it sticks Sonya Shadowdancer:Low stats but good value if it stays alive on an ideal board. If your opponent gets this and taunts off of devolve there is value to be had Rin, the First Disciple:Could be bad, could a surprise new strategy. Might determine if you win or lose vs a control or combo deck or might be too slow depends if Rin, the First Disciple is viable or not Voidlord:Good if defence is needed, bad if offence is needed. Might work well with Bloodlust though Grand Archivist:Big lowroll but might be good or catastrophic depending on the spell. You could get another evolve off it too. Hoarding Dragon:Depends on the value of the coins. Against miracle rogue or exodia paladin it's game ending, if you mill key combo card it can also be game ending Silver Vanguard:Huge lowroll statswise, could be virtually like evolving twice or never devolving at all if it pulls out a decent 8 drop like The Lich King. Horrible if you have no 8 drop to pull Ixlid, Fungal Lord:If you don't have leftover mana than it's a huge lowroll, it's only advantage is if you can follow up with playing a value minion or two (with another evolve maybe)
The deckbuilding argument is actually somewhat complicating since, yes, you can put only high cost untargeted spells in your deck for Spiteful Summoner or Grand Archivist but it's unclear how good that type of deck will be since you'll have a really high curve as a result with no early removals.

Finally they have a purchasable C'thun. That one must have really made devs anxious.

If it was a battlecry it wouldn't trigger cause it would itself be on the battlefield

They said they have no plans to give rogues any secrets than the 3 they got during this standard rotation.
