Hello. I present you another fun-to-play deck. Something new with chance to win in current meta.
This deck is inspired by previous mine deck Anti-Meta Un'Goro Handbuff. It took away handbuffs, replace it with new strong Frozen throne cards and add some additional tech.
Mulligen:
Always mulligen for Prince Keleseth. It's good to keep Stonehill Defender and Corpsetaker.
Against warrior go for Gluttonous Ooze.
Against shaman go for Mind Control Tech.
Against druid go for Skulking Geist.
Some tips:
Young Dragonhawk or Corpsetaker with Blessing of Wisdom are amazing!
Use Blessing of Wisdom only if you can immediately attack with it. When you are facing hard aggro, you can also use it on enemy creature. Be careful with Skulking Geist which will discard both copies from your deck/hand.
There are only two lifesteals minions: Chillblade Champion and Wickerflame Burnbristle. Don't keep them at your hand to increase your chance to get lifesteal on Corpsetaker. Same with windfury.
Don't get greedy with this deck. Always trade before face.
This deck is seriously expensive. 16320 dust, holy shit.
So some replacements:
If you don't have Prince Keleseth, i recommend adding Dirty Rat.
Instead of Uther of the Ebon Blade you can add Truesilver Champion.
Other cards like The Lich King, The Black Knight or anything else can be replaced with another copy of Bonemare or Chillblade Champion.
wtf? how can it be control paladin without any type of removal? this is zooladin
Maybe tech paladin? :) It seriously mid rage deck with control potential. Not zoo :D
.
I am sorry to hear that. That you didnt have success with this deck, doesnt mean that deck is terrible, but i respect your opinion. This deck is trying something creative, something new, something fun which requires thinking - not just playing on curve and going face. More gameplay like playing renolock. It is not always best decision to play every card immidietly when you can. Sometimes you can skip turn to make Mind Control Tech play.
.
Tried it for about 15 games, losing too much with it. There's too much aggro and there isn't any AOE in the deck. Also had a rough time establishing a board, most of it just gets cleared.
And vs control you don't have a really effective way of clearing big minions.
Enjoyed playing it, but was unable to climb with it
Against AOE 2x Mind Control Tech and strong minions like Corpsetaker boosted with Prince Keleseth worked for me like charm.
Against big minions Aldor Peacekeeper and Sunkeeper Tarim helps a lot - you can also discover another Snukeeper Tarim from Stonehill Defender.
At least you enjoyed playing it. :)
First game with this deck lost to a DK Warlock. Luckily, probably won't face too many of them.
went 2-3 so far on rank 5. Not so effective, but quite fun. Thanks for sharing!
Also i dont have prince, changed to rat as you said
I am glad you enjoy it. It's definitely not tier 1 deck, but if you get used to it, you can have decent win rate. Make paladin great again!
By the way Dirty Rat and Mind Control Tech combo is just lovely. Although Prince Keleseth, followed by Corpsetaker and Blackguard later is so great against priest.
Love the play style. Could be luck but after ten or so games I have yet to use the Mind Control Tech.
Might swap it out for something else... but then I'd need it.
I enjoy playing this deck.
I don't know if it's the most efficient, I need more plays, but it's has a lot of surprises.
