Still testing. Not sure how I feel about no Sludge Belcher or other early/mid game taunts besides Stonehill Defender. I'd probably include Wickerflame Burnbristle if I had him.
I feel that Spikeridged Steed is a bad inclusion in a deck like this since you're not likely to have many bodies on the board (and often times, no bodies at all) going into turn 6. I'm not totally sold on Ivory Knight as a replacement since it's not totally reliable for healing, but the prospect of finding more useful spells is too good to pass up.
Eadric the Pure is a rarely-seen pally card that I feel works nicely here...especially versus giant and jade decks when you need to stall them for a little longer but haven't been able to find an Equality!
Similarly, Enter the Coliseum is another underrated card that gives us yet another board wipe; It's great for catching opponents off guard.
Looks good, but I'd remove the Ivory Knights for Sludge Belchers (at least one). Much better against aggro and gives you something to play in T5. I have an Azure Drake too (you need more DRAW!).
I liked the idea of Novice Engineers and maybe Acolyte to draw more and faster because frequently one of you key combo parts will be in your last 5 cards, making you lose against late control.
Thanks for the feedback. In limited testing, I'll agree that belchers beat out the ivory knights; Much more consistent and as you said they're vastly better versus aggro.
I actually was running Acolyte of Pain instead of Mistress of Mixtures for a while and they worked out rather well, but I found that versus aggro my hand was getting clogged with too many situational cards I couldn't make use of. It's a swap I'll probably revisit in time however, since I see your point about really needing those combo pieces quickly versus control...maybe the magic number is 2 acolytes and 1xForbidden Healing instead of Lay on Hands for the best split between draw and healing. Something to test and discuss I suppose.
I'm not keen on Novice Engineer personally since it seems like a waste of a card slot in this deck.
