Today's deck is a fully committed Elemental Mage deck trying to keep the chain going with more curve elementals like Steam Surger and even Frost Elemental. The nearly half elemental deck looks to land a large amount of healing from the Frost Lich Jaina turn, which is generally anti-tempo.

DECK GOALS

At some point in the game, maybe as early as turn-2, you look to land a Doomsayer in order to start chaining elemental cards. The deck has two Frost Novas to make this a bit easier. We are lacking burst in the form of Fireball & Firelands Portal so the late game goal is Frost Lich Jaina. One copy of the new card Simulacrum is in the deck to try to double up on the many forms of Pyros.

THE MULLIGAN

The deck has a soft early game. There is high priority to get Arcanologist, Doomsayer, and Tar Creeper.

TECH CHOICES

Two Meteors and one Volcanic Potion are the AoE spells of choice.

THINGS TO NOTE

The deck includes a 3-card combo of Anomalus plus Freezing Potion plus Shatter. If you are already Death Knight Jainia this generally serves as a full heal and full board clear. The Coin is great with Frost Lich Jaina. Consider holding it till turn-10 if you didn't need it in the early game.
