no patches cuz not worth it imo (only 2 activators means you can draw him which is inconvenient).besides that giants are there to be end game options while sherazin and leeroy can do things.  basic miracle but is good during this rotation of standard.  shaku is there cuz he can stay put or steal early which is a good option.
