The main goal of the deck is to maintain board control with your powerful removal tools and weapons in the early-game, and drop big and powerful minions in the late game.

Your main goal is just to survive, removing their minions and threats while taking as little damage as possible. And once they run out of minions/threats your armor up!/tank up should give you the ability to survive long enough while they die to fatigue, this can also come in handy in wild games.

Although Control Warrior has not changed recently, when The Grand Tournament was released the card Justicar Trueheart became a staple in control warrior, as gaining 4 armor instead of two is difficult for any class to deal with.

Control Warrior's weak spots are, for the most part, the Reno Decks. The matchup wasn't great even before MSoG, but ever since Kazakus came out the situation has become more and more grim. Many of the potions are really good tempo swings, and the Polymorph Potions are a hard counter to your N'Zoth win condition.
