Standard Miracle Rogue By KaptenHS

The deck is inspired by the classic miracle rouge decks post Leeroy Jenkins nerf.

Since Tomb Pillager got released rogues are probably as good as pre Gadgetzan Auctioneer nerf and it became even better when WotoG came out with Xaril, Poisoned Mind. Also since Blizzard made the standard mode rogues get rid of the annoying Loathebs.

Early the deck relies on cheap removals and hero power to obatin board control. The short term goal is almost always to get your Gadgetzan Auctioneer stealthed as soon as possible (turn 6, Gadgetzan Auctioneer + Coin/PreparationConceal) to later be able to draw into the combo:

Southsea Deckhand + double Cold Blood + Faceless Manipulator

If you already have a weapon up you got at least 21 dmg for 8 mana.

There are plenty of decks out there with only Leeroy + Cold Blood or double Cold Blood. But there's a lot of dmg lost for only 1 mana compared to this combo.

As mentioned this deck has a lot of dmg potential. Sometimes you end up having a dagger, Southsea Deckhand + double Cold Blood + Faceless ManipulatorBriarthorn Toxin + Preparation + Eviscerate together they deal 31 dmg directly from hand for 9 mana!

This might seem inconsistant but no, with Auctioneer you can easily draw your whole deck at turn 7. Therefore you need to always think many steps ahead. And you will often see yourself having the 21 dmg combo for turn 8 or 9 so be prepared with your dagger up!

Worth to mention:

In almost every case you want to save atleast 1 durability of your dagger. For turn 4 you can Deadly Poison + SI:7 Agent. And of course if you see that you will be able to combo soon it will be 2 mana cheaper if you already have a weapon up.

Exception:

If you have no other play for turn three you can attack on turn two and three to set up a new dagger. This is mostly done when you are fighting control decks. Especially warriors where you want to successively tear their armor down.

However in some rare cases you will get in a position where you will have to use the Southsea Deckhand for removal. Try to avoid this as much as possible but if it's the only solution there are other win conditions. Personally I often rely on getting a big Edwin VanCleef stealthed or even another one with Faceless Manipulator stealthed. After all, having the Gadgetzan Auctioneer stealthed on board is often an automic win since you can buff him for huge amount of damage along with Eviscerates and other cards drawn when spells are played.

**MULIGAN AND TIPS**

Warrior

Warriors are usually very slow therefore

Shadow Strike

Tomb Pilager, probably the best card to muligan for in this matchup. If I have coin I like to have a Tomb Pilager both for turn 3 and 4. This card sets up a play for turn 6:

Gadgetzan, get goin from Pilager -> gadgetzan + coin + conceal. Warriors have no way to deal with a stealthed Auctioneer except for Brawl.

Azure Drake is OK but a bit slow.

You could keep Deadly Poison + SI:7 Agent but it rarely gives value and dies to Fiery War Axe and Bash. Same with Farseer. If you get them early play them out to shred his armor.

Never keep Backstab. There will probably not be anything to backstap in the early game.

Early: Use your hero power to keep his armor low if you have no minions to play. If he stacks a lot of armor I often throw an eviscerate in face a bit later if I have mana left to keep him in leathal range.

Druid

Preperation

Shadow Strike, a great way to deal with his high cost minions he can play early thanks to Innervate/Wild Growth .

Sap, also a great card to slow him down after a innervate turn for example. Atleast 1 of these cards is a must in this match up.

Deadly Poison

Back Stab + SI:7 Agent

Eviscerate

Farseer

Tomb Pilager

Fight for some board control early. Don't be afraid to drop farseer although you're at full hp. If he innervates something use your Shadow Strike + heropower or Prep + SS + SI:7. Else Sap it. But remember to keep 1 sap for later so you will be able to combo him. Ramp Druids can be hard to face since they have so many taunts. A good Edvin can really help. It's not as likely to get silenced now since druids don't play with Keeper of the Grove anymore. They often do play with one Spellbreaker though.

Priest

Deadly Poison

Shadow Strike

Gadgetzan

Tomb Pilager

Backstab

SI:7

Azure Drake, can be kept since it's a 4 attack minion but be sure to have some clears aswell.

As always fight for board control early. To later get a stealthed Auctioneer down. The only way priests can deal with it is with Auchenai + Cirkle. Since we are in standard mode they do not have many taunts (Belcher gone) only Crazed Worshipper if its a C'Thun Priest. Try to kill him before turn 10 else you will probably die wether it's a C'Thun- or Deathrattle Priest. IMO it's a farily easy matchup since they do not have a lot of taunts and are pretty slow. Muligan hard for Gadgetzan to ensure you get your combo in time.

Rouge

Deadly Poison

Bloodmage

backstab

SI:7

Eviscerate

Shadow Strike

Tomb Pilager

Gadgetzan

In mirror matchup it's all about the early board control. Whoever has it for turn 4/5 is most likely to win. Therefore god hard for removal but also get a Tomb Pilager it's one of the best cards in this matchup. Also whoever gets their Auctioneer down and stealthed with some board control first, automaticly wins.

Paladin

Most of the paladin decks are aggro types for the moment.

Backstab

Deadly Poison

SI:7

Bloodmage

Prep

FoK

Farseer

Don't let him get boardcontrol then you're probably dead before you can get you Auctioneer down and defenetively dead before you can combo him. Use your hero power to take out his minions along with Backstab/SI/FoK. Sap his buffed minions.

If you are facing a Deathrattle Paladin/Healadin try to bait his truesilver for SI and Farseer then drop the Tomb Pilager/Azure drake. Also try to get some value of the gadgetzan instead of just stealthing it since they can Pyro + Equality. Be sure to have a Sap when you are about to combo for Tirion.

Warlock

Deadly Poison

Bloodmage

Backstab

SI:7

Farseer

Eviscerate

Basically same as vs aggro Paladin.

Hunter

A hard matchup since hunters can get you low very quickly. You will have to go all in for the early removals and hope to draw into the midgame.

Deadly Poison

Backstab

SI:7 Agent

Bloodmage

Prep

FoK

Farseer

Keep an eye of your health and calculate his potential damage before you decide to take out a minion with your hero power.

Shaman

Deadly Posion

Backstab

SI:7 Agent

Sap

Prep

Shadow Strike

Bloodmage

Farseer

A sort of aggro/tempo class. Obtain boardcontrol early be cheap removals. Try to keep up with his tempo thanks to Prep and Sap his Flamewreathed Faceless. Also here you will have to keep his dmg potential in mind and hope to draw into a good midgame curve.
