Anti-Meta DemoMage
*Update*
Thanks for helping me having this decklist #1 in Hearthpwn! Love you guys! I will try to make more decks as soon as the new expansion be introduced. Whoever wants to upload a gameplay of this deck, make sure it credits the author and has a link to the decklist in the video description. Once you send me your video in personal message (and it meets all the requirements as mentioned above) it may be uploaded in the deck description on "Gameplays" section. Until next time, stay perfect :)
Hello, my name is Indina Demo, Greek player of Hearthstone for almost 3 years and I'm here to help you climb faster. This deck will help you to deal with every Aggro deck such as Combo Druid -with their broken combo- , Cancer Paladin -with their annoying secrets- and of course Face Hunter and Aggro Shaman. The main concept is to put Ice Block on the board and when they break it you can play Reno Jackson. This deck helped me reach Rank 5 from Rank 19 in almost 2 days. Try it too!
Vs Druid: Mulligan for Arcane Missles, Flamewaker and Acolyte of Pain. Next turns ping Acolyte of Pain to search for Ice Block. When you draw it, put it on board ASAP! Now you destroyed his combo. Congratulations! Now the next you want to get is Reno Jackson. When you play him the next turn the opponent broke your Ice Block, you get +29 hp and you have full advantage as he will have no combo to play. And that's how you destroy his deck. If all fails play Loatheb in turn 8 (or 6 if he had played Emperor Thaurissan) and delay his combo in order to have more chances to draw Ice Block. DO NOT LET HIM DAMAGE YOU, IF YOU HAVE 16 HP IN TURN 9 (OR 7) YOU ARE DEAD.
Vs Secret Paladin: Mulligan forArcane Missles, Flamewaker, Acolyte of Pain andBig Game Hunter. As mentioned before, the thing you want to put on board is Reno Jackson and Ice Block, but at this time you don't have to rush it. Basically wait for the secret paladin and activate his Secret Chain. Avenge must be played on Mysterious Challenger so do not, under any circumstances, let him have other minions on board. When Avenge is on Mysterious Challenger, simply kill it with your Big Game Hunter. When this happen just play tempo and everything will be alright
Vs Aggro Hunter-Shaman: Mulligan for Acolyte of Pain, Arcane Missles, Flamewaker, Frostbolt,Flamecannon and Arcane Blast. Just ping their low minions and kill them with spells mentioned above. Rush draw with pinging Acolyte of Pain and Arcane Intellect in order to draw Ice Block and Reno Jackson combo. When you have these 2 cards, the possibilities to win are over 96%. Not to mention that many of them may rage-quit ;)
Vs Control Decks: Just keep a tempo and try to hit face when opponents minions are not dangerous. Remember playing against Control Decks may be deifficult to win but keep in mind that very few play control decks in this meta. At least not that much as the decks mentioned above!
Upvote if this deck helped you and remember to write a comment if you want to suggest a replacement or just to give your opinion about this deck. Negative, appropriately written comments that suggest their fixes for this deck are more than welcome :)

I feel like this deck severely lacks card draw.
Without acolyte or arcane intellect in your early hand (which happened all 6 games ive played), you run out of steam by turn 6.
Maybe Ive been getting unlucky, but this deck doesnt seem very "anti-meta"
Lost 8 out of 10 games against other control decks. Since I switched to that deck, i was only facing Control Priests and Control Warriors. Once they play Isera it is gg. Nothing to counter it.
Combo hits for 14.
Why Molten giant if you don't run sun fury or argus to make it a taunt?
Also, i find that flamewaker not that useful because there are only 15 spells in the deck( 15 sounds much but not really for this deck)
I also recommend ppl replacing counter spell and arcane missle/blast with doomsayer and frost nova so you can have 3 AOE in total( flamestrike, blizzard and doomsayer+frost nova)
There are no taunt-giving minions in the deck just due to the fact that it already carries the Reno Jackson + Ice Block combo, thus allowing you to place the giant down while also using other cards such as spells to deal with their board.
As for the Doomsayer + Frost Nova combo I would say just switch it out depending on the meta. In aggro you'll probably want to use the Flamewaker a bit more to get the early game advantage.
fuck me, the only joy I derive out of your pain is understanding that shit doesn't just happen to me. Often times the 'bad luck' is so bad its as if the situation was perfectly scribed, perfectly orchestrated as if by the spilt blood of Christ itself.
I'm wondering if I can't fit a Jeweled Scarab in there somewhere(I don't have arcane blast so perhaps to replace that), Might take out the Wyrm or Flamewaker for something a little more consistent. Played 3 games and I've lost all three due to the completely inconsistent nature of the deck. There's definitely an awesome deck waiting to built around this, but this bastardization of tempo-mage and reno-mage isn't it.
I've been destroying these stupid aggro decks and had some mixed results against others like dragon priest and patron warrior. Do you think it would be a bad idea to use double iceblock or double flamestrike? If so, what cards are replaceable?
Used unstable portal for the first time with this deck. Got Paletress and got Rag out of Paletress on turn 6. Enemy concedes.
Nice deck but gets wrecked by zoolock. Not enough card draw or AOE. Doing really well against everything else. The stupid Anfin paladins have no chance.
Mad Scientist is a play for tempo since you aren't using mana to get out a secret. Yes, there is a bit rng to it but 3 of the 4 secrets won me games already.
first play, matchup against Druid, who set up for combo, able to set have ice block and duplicate up.
He does his combo thing, even waits for me to "concede" before realizing it's ice block.
Play Reno next turn, he doesn't kill it, I kill of his minion & play Ragnaros, he duplicates it... he concedes.
This deck delivers on its promise :-)
I feel it depends heavily (or should i say solely) on your draws and there's just not enough card draw, is hard to gain control of the board i feel a doomsayer + frost nova is better but still doesn't quite cut it... i don't find this deck good to be honest but that's just me*EDIT*: Actually im getting used to it! And is working fine! Im playing against zoos and everything and i keep on duplicating my reno and having the board control i should by wasting spells, the deck is working "fine" so far, only fine though, we will see. The pyroblast is actually doing a lot of work. The card draw department is still a little weak.
With such a much amount of spells, what about antonidas?
I know he is a slow card, but he is a body and if you can use him with emperor and soms spells he can be nice.
Or is he to situational?
Lost to Miracle Rogue with this deck.
Nice
Really nice Deck! Only change I made was swapping Ragnaros with Antonidas which significantly improved my Control Matchups. Thanks for posting this one it really does have an answer to most of the current meta.
Very nice deck! Do you think Alextrazza would fit this deck? And I was also thinking about adding Echo of Medivh...
True...but still I think I'm gonna put Echo instead of Counterspell, that way it'll guarantee that the Mad Scientist pick either Ice Block or Ice Barrier which are much more useful.
I played this for a while and it worked perfectly. Most of the time enemy conceded when I had the Ice Block + Reno Jackson combo or in rare situations I even won with either one of them.
Then I realized people will soon be adding Kezan Mystic and it will ruin this deck completly. I'm not saying this deck is bad. Im saying its countered REALLY easily with just 1 card. I rely almost every game on though "Ice Block will win this game" and against control decks I end up playing until last 3-5 cards so they will have that Kezan to finish you off.
