The deck

It's a miracle rogue that uses Cutpurse and Tomb Pillager to gather coins, which you can either cycle with Gadgetzan Auctioneer, or, if you've drawn what you need, turn into random legendary minions with Elise Starseeker. You will be unsurprised to learn that it's not extremely reliable (I'm still tweaking it, trying to make it a little steadier), but yes, it actually works at fairly high ranks (rank 4 NA right now).

Core concepts

I'll expand this more as I continue to optimize the list and get experience with the deck. For now, one thing I can say is that you have a lot of freedom to include tech and other highly situational cards in here, depending on what you're facing. If you run Deathlord and go up against a control warrior, or Kezan Mystic and find yourself against a priest, just hold them until you get the Golden Monkey out and turn 'em into Malorne or whatever. Unsurprisingly, as I've tuned the deck, it's leaned more and more anti-aggro.

What about . . .

Weapons/oil/poison/flurry? Tried them. Unreliable, too many dead hands, too much life lost swinging the weapon. I replaced them all with Sir Finley Mrrgglton and a Dark Iron Skulker and haven't looked back.

Sap? This is fundamentally a control deck, and while some tempo-positive, value-negative cards do work here (like Preparation), I don't think the deck is right for Sap. YMMV.

Violet Teacher? Seems perfect, right? I tried her instead of Piloted Shredder, wasn't happy, went back. Still not happy. I'm not sure what to do with the non-Elise, non-Pillager 4-drops. If I were seeing more aggro, I'd try some combination of Sen'jin Shieldmasta and Refreshment Vendor.

Conceal? Thanks to all those coins, I didn't expect I'd need to draw over two turns with Auctioneer very often, and I think that's proven to be true. You could certainly try it, though.

Brann Bronzebeard? Could be good with more battlecries. Unearthed Raptor might work too, with more deathrattles.

Anything that costs 6+ mana? That's what the the Golden Monkey is for, duh. You just have to believe in the heart of the cards!
