Legend proof :)
This deck took me to rank 1 and I only lost 2 matches from rank 5. At rank 1 it got a bit tougher but eventually I pulled through and reached legend!
This deck does really well in the current meta, for me it wrecked aggro druids, midrange and secret paladins, crushed rogues and had decent win rate against control warriors which pretty much sums up the meta in these top ranks.
The mulligan for a face hunter is pretty simple as you most often try to get 1 or 2 1-drops and a 2-drop. Having the coin gives you a great advantage as you can play 2 2-drops in a row which is pretty huge for face hunters. Mad Scientist should be played before Knife Juggler most of the time to bait out removals like Wrath or Slam (if you can play both on the same turn you obviously play Knife Juggler first). On turn 4 or 5 you usually wanna try and start using your hero power every turn to decrease the odds of you having to top deck.
The general strategy for this deck is to simply attack the face and get your opponent down to 0 hp as fast as humanly possible. Minions like Armorsmith, Darnassus Aspirant, Flamewaker and Knife Juggler should be traded into if they're played on curve because they can be very dangerous if you let them live. Other than those 4 there are very few if any minions that you should rather trade into than just go for the face.
After reading this you should be ready to hunt for them faces (Especially the face of Garrosh Hellscream as he is a hunter's worst enemy) so remember, have fun and go for the face. "The Face is The Place" -SMOrc
Haha it's fine, just giving you some feedback on your play style, hope it's helpful and will help you grind some ranks :)
Messing in a 15 rank 9/7

Damn, you're having poor luck in the mirror matchup, in the mirror trading with Haunted Creeper as it trades into 3 minions most of the time and drawing the Explosive Trap or Mad Scientist is very important as it is most of the time full board clear (unless your opponent gets Misha), something to keep in mind :)
Thanks bro! One more Q: what to do with opponent's [card]Explosive Trap[/card]?
Trade in everything you have into other minions except if you have Misha or Leeok but then you kinda have to proc it since there's nothing you can really do about it, it will always clear everything on board
I found swapping the Southsea Deckhand for a Flare very useful rank 5+, there are too many Freeze Mages and Secret Paladins :S and flare tends to be an insta-win.
Really? I encountered very few Freeze Mages but didn't have much trouble with the Secret Paladins, most of the time I used spells to seal the game after they dropped Mysterious Challenger
I guess I just had bad luck then, although better playing against those decks than facing control warrior e.e
Haha yeah, that's true :P I faced a lot of rogues and shamans for some weird reason ^.^
Wolfrider :)
Worgen Infiltrator it's pretty much the same, personally I just prefer the charge to the stealth :)
You're welcome, hope you have much success with it :)
Worgen Infiltrator since you need 1-drops as face hunter
If 1 Antique Healbot can stop you from sealing the win then you're simply doing something wrong, you should be able to deal at least 8 damage from hand at turns 6/7
+1Southsea Deckhand +1Glaivezooka or +2Wolfrider. I'd definitely try to getMad Scientist asap though, as the deck isn't really the same without it :)
Well, if you don't feel like you need them then I'd look into replacing them but due to board flooding paladins being so popular at the moment they always get a bunch of value :)
Should i really be running two Ironbeak Owl?
The deck im currently using is nearly the same
Yeah, I'd definitely run 2xIronbeak Owl, since most decks in the current meta run at least 2 taunts, also increases the chance of you drawing one, it's terrible being stuck with aSludge Belcher on the board and noIronbeak Owl in your hand but if you're facing mostly aggro decks then I guess 1 is fine, but for me at ranks 3-1 most decks were midrange/control :)
Okay, I'll look into getting one, will probably be really handy when I do a push for higher ranks. Currently just sitting at rank 20 farming wins for daily gold cause I got to rank 14 this season.
There are no good replacements for those cards but I'd go for +1 Glaivezooka +1 Southsea Deckhand and +2 Wolfrider :)
Ah! My bad, the 3rd was supposed to be Flamewaker but now that I think of it you kinda want to trade into Knife Juggler as well thanks for bringing that up, would never have noticed it :)
