Hi fellow stoners, MambaShane here! Top 100 Legend Mage Player this Season.

Today, I bring you the latest archetype of the Control Mage.

This deck is insane amounts of fun, and potential to climb to the highest of ranks with some tweaking.

Reno Jackson enables a full heal, and the effect will trigger the moment you have a single Mad Scientist in your hand, as this is the ONLY card that I run 2 copies of.

Mulligan: Mad ScientistDuplicateDoomsayerAcolyte of PainColdlight Oracle.

You want to cycle through your deck asap, Duplicate is a great early card, as potential Turn 5 Duplicates include Sludge BelcherLoatheb or Antique Healbot.  Duplicating an early Doomsayer is also a great play.

Card Choices:

Earthen Ring Farseer: This is a good early heal against heavy aggro decks, ie. Hunter, Aggro Pally & even Zoo.

Coldlight Oracle Although it gives your opponents 2x cards, this is a great substitute for a second Arcane Intellect, and provides a body on the board.

Sylvanas Windrunner: A great control card, if played with Effigy, can be an immediate swing in your favor.

Effigy Finally, the card that can be utilized properly in Control Mage.  Try to use it pre-emptively on a big minion, such as Archmage Antonidas or Alexstrasza

Big Game Hunter With only 1 Fireball, BGH will be a decent body to control the annoying 7+ minions.

Bloodmage Thalnos Decent cycle with sudden late game burst, try comboing with Roaring Torch damage!

Winning Conditions:

- Duplicating a strong minion to extend the game out
- Recognizing when to use Reno Jackson, best before your Ice Block is about to pop.
- Extracting Maximum Value from Archmage Antonidas
- Delaying the game with classic Freezemage setups
Effigy late game minions

Have fun!
