very good deck in meta now, because you have рositive matchuрs against secretрaly, druids, warriors, and hunters.
Because of the many emerging issues, i try to answer here.
Why not in deck: 1)Effigy - you play not much big drops, and a lot of 1-2 drops, In 80% you wll have not enough value. Counterspell and mirror entity are more tempo secrets, which help you and crush opponents curve and temp.
2)Saarad - saarad cost 5 mana like azure drake, but 100% valuse we can get only on turn 7 with not good tempo play our hero ability. Also random spell is so random))) azure drake give you speeldamage,card,and minion on exactly turn 5 and have a lot of synergy with deck
3)Spellslinger - going back to what I said earlier, random spell is not good, and your deck become like casino. Also you give spell to your opponent, whis is not good, because he can play it first or his spell better then yours. On turn 3 you have play arcane intellect or flamewaker or some spell with Sorcerer's Apprentice.
4)Ronin - is too slow card for this deck and for this meta. If you want to play some 8 drop, better play ragnaros. But not recommended both this variants.
5)Flamestrike - ofc not tempo card, you need to be leading in the match, rather than depend on the opponent. You already have enough board clears.
Firstly, o would like to say that i dont use deck traker now, and cant proof my winreit, but its true 90%, for moment when i reached legend and play on it, so to your notice).
Never write a guide, do not judge strictly. Tempo deck imply that you need to play good temp on curve. This is your one of win conditions. Try to control board with your spells and combo with flamewaker. You can kill your opponent by board or by spells. Usually on turn 8-9 vs control deck you lost board control, and before this you have to deal critical damage to opponent face to kill him using fireball or frostbolt. Against agro deck you need to find early game and a lot of spells to counter initial threat and then push face damage. Against mid deck like druid you need board control, thats why dont be afraid to use fireball to clean and develop your board. Antonidas give this deck second breath if we already use both fireball, try to take as mush as possible fireball by archimage, but 2 fireball is also good. Unstable portal is very important card, because you can just win the game on turn 3 play Mysterious Challenger or dr.boom on turn 4. This i think give you a bit more positive outs, than negative(compare with spellslinger).

warrior: clockwerk gnome, mad scientist,mana wyrm, Sorcerer's Apprentice, unstable portal, if you with coin keep Piloted Shredder
druid: clockwerk gnome, mad scientist,mana wyrm, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Flamecannon, frostbolt, unstable portal
mage: clockwerk gnome, mad scientist,mana wyrm, Sorcerer's Apprentice, frostbolt, unstable portal
Priest: clockwerk gnome, mad scientist,mana wyrm, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Flamecannon, frostbolt, unstable portal. Need all draw and all 4-5 drops in match to win
Warlock: clockwerk gnome, mad scientist,mana wyrm, Sorcerer's Apprentice, unstable portal, flamewaker
Shaman: clockwerk gnome, mad scientist,mana wyrm, Sorcerer's Apprentice, frostbolt, Flamecannon, arcane blast, mirror images

Great deck dude im trying to make legend/ get golden mage. Ive played like 15 games tonight and lost 3
I find this deck extremely weak to aggro and rush decks that go all face. They bypass everything and destroy you.

I don't have flamewalker and mad scientist, what should i put insted of them? any suggestions?
you can not play this deck if you miss these cards, they are essentiel because the deck is based around them
Any replacement for Mad Scientist? Don't have naxx and LoE
I don't either, so instead of mad scientist (which is useless because you only have two secrets), I just filled in the blank areas that had only one card in it.

I have a question though, why x2 Mad Scientist if you have only 2 secrets? Most of the time, at least 1 Mad Scientist does not draw a secret. I tried replacing one with Ethereal Conjurer and it looks good to me.
Ive been pretty successful with this deck, then again I believe it was because of my mulligans.

any replacement for Arcane Blast?
Try to dust gold cards that you don't plan on using. That's what I did to craft Archmage Antonidas. Or you can disenchant cards for classes you don't use, but don't disenchant common unless they're gold, otherwise it's just a waste. All you need is 400 dust.

Lol, are you <snip>? This deck has 25/25 of the core cards of a tempo mage for current meta. He's literally following the guide that was made by a pro player about tempo decks and cards to sub in....
so you're saying this changes will drops us into a legend number. Okay. I will try but I don't have antonidas, but I have so many legendaries to replace. Just give me an opinion. I really want to play tempo.

Replaced an arcane intellect and dr boom with 2 x flamestrike
By the time you hit 7 either you're already going to win, or the opponent has the board and playing dr. boom at this point wouldn't save you. This is at rank 16-15 and I've been seeing a lot of minion flood decks with paladin/shaman/warlock
i think it needs more AoE. if the board gets controlled at the start of the match, is really hard to comeback
What can i replace with arcane blast and dr boom?
I also had only those to replace, I put in polymorph and pyroblast as a finisher
As of the 5th of January you updated the guide saying to go to an older version of the deck, can you link that please? Also do you still recommend subbing mirror images for ethereal conjurer?
