A modified version of my currently 17-2 Leeroy midrange deck. This list has been working much better.
Okay, more midrangey. The basic idea is the replacement of Sylvanas. I don't like her in Paladin because a Paladin can't trigger her themselves. No SW: Death, no Shield Slam, no shadowflame. She sits as a puzzle on the board for the enemy to figure out, and that's too passive for me. Argus is your tech slot, you can replace it with another Chow, another QM, a Kezan, or an Acolyte of Pain.
Do not be afraid to use the Blessing of Kings on a Minibot before Leeroy has entered the field to promote good trades and keep the board. This is the reason it is a Kings and not a Might or Blessed Champion. Many times I have used Kings on a minion already on board to punch through the front half of a Belcher, sweep up the second with a Consecration or another minion, and then Leeroy face for lethal. Leeroy + Consecration is 8. Leeroy + Truesilver is 10. You can still combo him for burst without Kings. Even alone, he's still a Fireball if there's no taunts. How many times have you died to a "lucky" Fireball?
Hey, thanks. It's hard to be creative in mid pal because around 26-28 cards I feel are strictly "necessary" to the archetype (if you go look at mid pal decks, they are mostly the same as this one), and after you plug those all in you don't have much room for innovation. The idea is pretty much the surprise of Leeroy + Kings as a 10 damage charger in the same way a Warrior can close out games with Grom. Maybe in another version of the deck Alexstraza would make an appearance as a way to get their health down, but Paladin's hero power is fine for war of attrition. A mid pal is basically grinding you down the whole game anyway, but the big missing piece of the puzzle was burst.
Leeroy is that piece.
Thanks for visiting my deck, and if you have any questions about budget replacements maybe I can help you hash it out.
