This deck is in my opinion the easiest way to beat Heroic Majordomo. The main goal of this deck is to kill Majordomo and Ragnaros in 1 turn. This can be done by dropping down the 2 Shade of Naxxramas as early as possible. Utilise buffs such as Blessing of Kings. Be patient when using your Blessed Champion as this card is vital when it comes to finishing Majordomo.
The reason why we set up to kill him in one turn is to prevent the Molten Giants coming out and just wrecking your board. Warning Ragnaros has 60HP when he comes out!
Mulligan for cards to maintain Board Control such as Shielded Minibot and Muster for Battle. Even cards like Aldor Peacekeeper and Hammer of Wrath can be kept to handle those Hero power minions. Also Quartermaster is a vital card to deal with the Hero power of Majordomo. This card can also be kept in your hand if you have a Muster for Battle.
If you get out your shades early enough this is easy to win. Don't use your Blessing of Wisdom on your shades. Use them on Silver hand Recruits to draw more cards, and thus drawing more combo cards for the shade. If you have Emperor Thaurissan on turn 6, you most likely drop him on the board to make everything cheaper.
So to sum everything up:
- Get Shade of Naxxramas out as early as possible.
- Maintain board control with your early game.
- Use your heals to stay alive.
- Try to buff your shades (if possible) every turn!
- Try to kill him in 1 TURN
If you still have any problems defeating this boss I suggest you check out his Twitch channel to see how he did it. The fight starts around 27:00 Minutes in

Got him! thrid try. Stay alive and focus on board clear, do not need to put SoN on 3rd turn. I put it on 7th turn and still got him as soon as reaching over 60 just Smash them
Got it first try! Great deck and guide :)
Close game, I was at 1HP from fatigue
worked like a charm, second attempt went very easy. thx!!!!
I used Bolvar Fordragon instead of second Lay on Hands (cuz i have only one). Pretty nice thing for oneshoting Rag.
First try, thank you.
Thanks! Worked on 1st try. I think it is really good to check the video for those who have trouble with this one.
I had to craft two Blessed Champions, but I guess I'll use them somehow later either way :)
Fun encounter to play
this fight hinges all out on board control: gaining it and keeping it. I beat it using baron rivendare to take board control during the first phase and never giving it up. I used a shaman deck and beat him in 5 tries. There are many ways to solve the puzzle and the AI doesnt always make the same plays. As always Hearthstone is heavy rng the way blizzard intended. This wing was much harder due to more emphasis on rng than the last wing as it took 7 games to clear normal and heroic on the last wing while this wing took me quite a few more games based on the sheer amount of health you have to go through for the geddon domo and rag.
Cheers. Here's my winning attempt:
The shade of naxxramas card is not there for me, even when i try to craft. I remember getting it but i cant find it at all please help
thank you i did not know that i have to go beat it, i appreciate the help
Just beat him with this deck. Didn't have mega shades but did focus on board control and smart trades.. oh and didn't go to face until I could one shot him. Will post a screenshot of final shot to Rag soon.
Was missing a few cards (Tition + Quartermaster + LOH), so subbed in a few extra heals and still got it 1st try. Nice deck :)
Got my Shade out on turn 3 and had to wait right til the end for my 2nd Kings to appear. Saved the blessed champions til the turn after killing Domo to buff him up to this sexy number!
1st try, ty bro! Double shade 3-4 turns forwarded me to win
Nice deck. I killed it after a few tries with a mage but the shade would've been way easier :)
Working great!
All you need is a early [card]Shade of Naxxramas[/card] and than waiting for the buff's. ;)
I used "Trump's Guy maker" deck for this boss(own version as I only have limited Legendaries - Only have Tirion and Sylvanas.
Kept board control early with Zombie and Shield bot+Cog hammer. Maintain board control.
Stack board while clearing off his minions, tokens and Sludges helped me for achieving this. Chip away on health until he is at 20. Only take him down if you can get him down to 0 in one turn, else you going to have a bad time with his molten giants.
When raggy comes, do the same. Board control and chip away at health'/armor and get him to 20HP. I had Equality + Consecration ready, so I pushed him down and cleared the board with the combo when he summoned MJ's.
Slow and steady :)
I've tried your exact deck 3 times, and every time the Flamewalkers get out of control. Not sure if this is just a deck predicated on luck, but I even got the shade out on turn 3, there's no way to board clear AND buff the shade enough to kill him before getting overwhelmed.
Sorry, but not as consistent as you claim it to be brah.
Edit: Also, your writeup is awful. Writeups should include mulligan strategies and core concepts as well as execution of the deck or specific combos you found useful. Just saying "buff shade, kill boss, GG" is not a good writeup.
I beat it after a couple attempts. Had to get tirion and Kel combo off. Almost lost but i got a lucky equality top deck. so i was able to clear his whole board of giants with my 1/1 recruits. After that it was smooth sailing. Even if he killed my Tirion, i got him right back with Kel. Awesome deck. Requires a bit to pull off but it does work.
This deck is perfect. I won by playing blessed champion x2 on Tirion, BoK on Kelthuzad, BoW on Tirion, played Emperor Tarzan, and oroceeded to draw the entire deck.
I left Majordomos with 23 health before I demolished him down, while stalling till then by using KT to repeatedly kill his minions, and reviving my board.
Would've been more challenging if he called Ragnaros by a pre-determined turn, like KT did in Naxx... I guess Nefarian will be tougher then.
