Replacement for Harrison Jones?
thanks
Buenas!
Thanks a lot!
Against druid its all about tempo, so you have to try and buid a strong early game to allow you to keep board control and your life total healthy, that way you dont have to sacrifice too much to play around combo on turns 9 and upward. Against paladin its all about board control, you have to play to your advantages. They have the better board clear with EQ-CONSE, but you can get more value out of your minions, so try to mantain enough board control to deal with what he can put out, but don't overextend to the point where his clear get a lot of value
I have every card except for Harrison Jones. Do you think not having him will weaken the deck significantly?
Not having him will actually make all the non weapon matchups stronger, because you can put a better card. But it does make the rogue matchup, which is hard, considerably weaker and will make the paladin matchup a little bit harder (warrior is already easy, Harrison is just overkill)
It's kind of hard to replace, it helps quite a bit in control matchups and it helps a LOT against priest. The replacement would have to be a very high value card like Sylvannas or The Black Knight
If I'm running Al'Akir instead of Ragnaros, should I replace Neptulon with Ragnaros?
Nope, that replacement is fine
Forgot to say I don't have Neptulon heh.
You need a high value card for Neptulon to help the control matchups, so i recommend something like Sylvannas instead of Ragnaros for it
Really nice deck, I've been playing it for a few hours now and I lost only one game. But having 2 Zombie Chow, isn't it a bit too much? In my opinion, only one would be more than enough. What do you think?
The way i see it is that shamans have one of the best late games in the game, it's not rare to fatigue a warrior for example. But shaman struggles with early game pressure and face damage, we have unfavorable matchups against face hunter and zoo. So i tried to tech a LOT for the early game (2 Zombies, 2 Ferals) knowing that if the game goes to late i probably have it
As i said bellow, one os the worst parts of shaman in mi opinion is its draw engine, i personally hate playing without having options and Harrison, aswell as the Azure Drakes, help with that. Harrison also helps a little bit with the rogue mathup which is unfavorable to us
i would replace an azure drake for al'akir.. u have like three spells so u dont need both.
Well, one of the worst parts of shaman is its card draw, that is one reason for them being there. The other reason is that Azure drake + Lightining Storm is REALLY scary, a notable exaple is that it clears without RNG the Muster + Quartermaster
Yeah i agree in the problem of card draw..but thats why u have neptulon, 1 drake and a mana tide totem. Al'akir is the best finisher in the game, and also can clean board.
