Hi guys. I reached legend rank in 4 days with this handlock deck. Its very similar to Lifecoach handlock but Im using Jarraxus instead of Sylvanas. My score with this deck is 53/25 win/lose (from rank 9 to legend but i was playing a few games with rogue). You can see my ride from rank 2 into legend in my pastbroadcasts here: http://www.twitch.tv/bloodlips/b/632632035 . Also i invite everyone to my stream http://www.twitch.tv/bloodlips :)
Edit: I also reached top 5 with it and now i have 62/27 w/l
Edit: And even top 2 :)
What do you think about Sylvanas Windrunner instead of Loatheb ? or Sylvanas Windrunner instead of Zombie Chow ?
If you want slyvanas Ragnaros would be by far the most logical cut
i love 2x shadowflame and 1x hellfire.. i kinda prefer it.. what do you guys think?I do same. Having said that, I just played 3 games, where I had a shadowflame in my hand but i wanted a hellfire. I still won those games, but it's making me think about reconsidering :P
instead of rag. as an 8 drop is it acceptable to play k.t. i've had alot of mixed feelings about it but in the end i think i favor it to give me minions back... but i do understand rag is just the rng god of ladder so what's your thoughts?
I think, Ragnaros the Firelord is better card. It's 8 damage at same turn he was summoned, and its good finisher too.
Agreed, Rag can just put them so far behind they can't win, but KT needs a lot of set up to work as well. Also Rag can't be silenced like KT can.
Been running this deck on US ladder recently, LOVING it. Handlock is so much more fun than I remember and it works like a charm. Face hunter is probably my worst match up, but other than that they have to be over 50% in favor of me.
Well, I don't get it... doing nothing but losing with this deck (NA). You name an Aggro deck and I haven't beaten it. Doing nothing for 4-5 turns in this Meta is suicide. Chow is solid, but you have 1. Hellfire sounds like a must keep, except everyone and their mother is running 2xSpiders 2xShredders so your clears aren't really clears.
if you aren't doing anything for 4-5 turns and can't stabilize it sounds like you maybe aren't mulliganing properly. or are too afraid to draw into an out i haven't had any problems, and the meta is based around aggro decks again where this deck first became popular. my build is slightly different but i like it more against mage, however i also play preist alot so i'm used to fighting the low minion struggle. my suggestion is find something for a second shadow flame and possibly another dark bomb it'll help stabalize the field more.
Don't be affraid to drop a Sunfury Protector on an empty board. Sometimes you need something to contest the aggression.
gg wp :)
What do you think about replacing something for a second Shadowflame?
I like Alexstraza better than Lord Jaraxxus because its a big body for the board to taunt, better for molten giants, and i don't know how many times an opponent has been at 30 health and i have 2 giants on the board to kill him in the later turns.
Why 1 shadowflame and 2 hellfire?
Why rag for sylvanas?
Standart handlock,nothing special
I totally agree with you!
I don't see any reason for not running two Shadowflames in handlock as you watchers, healbots, BGH and infernos are prefect targets for it.
1. Hurting youself for 3 dmg is very dangerous against hunter.
2. More importantly, against mech mage, Hellfire doesn't really work: Spider Tank, Goblin Blastmage, Tinkertown Technician are all 4 health minions, which you can't remove by Hellfire.
Hence, two Shadowflames are much better than two Hellfires in aggressive meta as well.
Maybe he actually doesn't know? I like your answer though.
I like everything in this list except Rag. Sylvanas seems more effective against both aggro and control. You can force trades or combo with shadowflame. With aggro decks, rogues, and paladins Rag will often hit garbage minions and have low impact. In the late game Rag also leaves you with very little else to do on your turn with 2 mana while Sylvanas leaves you at 4. You can't use twilight drake, argus, tap sunfury, sunfury ancient watcher, etc. while playing Rag.
Doing well against most decks, except for hunter. They just speed by. Then kill command.
Probably for the early game against hunters or mech mages.
