This looks like a troll deck, but he played it at top100 legend and won most of the matches. :)
Updated the deck, he's currently top4 and in a good spot. :)
He just got top1!
Update explanation: Removed Alex. Without Alex, Ice Block is useless. (It doesn't trigger on fatigue damage.) Added Fireball vs Jaraxxus.
Update 2: As every patch, meta got aggressive again. More HP, more taunt needed.
^ Big Game Hunter puts a minion on the board and it can be echoed. So you get more mileage out of your BGH than poly.
Is there any way to fit just 1 dancing swords into the deck? Just for faster fatigue.
The difference between this deck and a traditional mill deck is that you dont aggressively mill them. The problem that mill decks usually run into is their opponents outpacing them and getting out of control. With this deck you want to keep them under control, mill them slightly with deathlord and their own card draw, then win the fatigue battle because youre 5-6 card draws behind them yet still have a full hand from duplicate and echo. By adding a dancing sword you will mill them harder and get a nice body, but it is less useful against aggro decks because it lacks taunt and will risk putting too many cards into their hands at the wrong time, also it just adds less to the deck than other cards. I hope this answers your question.
my time now to try this deck... finaly the community have done it :D deleted zoo and hunter to provide enough dust xD
I saw Kolento play this deck, it really works well, it's no troll deck believe me.
Basically you use freeze mage tactics to AOE your opponents board, illuminator helps you heal the damage he manages to deal, you want to try to keep it alive in other words.
It seems to me like this is also one of the higher skill cap decks as you have to know when to do what or you will just simply lose and because you always try to take the game to fatigue the game can go on forever.
The benefit of this deck above normal freeze mage is that this deck does not have limited damage. When you start "Dealing damage" it just gets more and more.
Countering with handlock you should rarely life-tap and play Jaraxxus early. I can imagine that a tree of life mill druid kind of thing can also work well against this deck but tree of life rarely gets played.
Edit: This is not a mill mage, it's more of a fatigue mage. Milling is a added benefit. Kolento also calls it fatigue mage.
He called the deck "millmage". I just copied the title. :)
I am trying this deck, 0/9 :D, I guess I don't have an idea of how to play this deck.,
I really didn't see this deck working, but he just kept winning game after game
