Been winning lots with this deck, out values other control and has no problem dealing with aggro.
Late game we win by keeping the resses up with upgraded amulets :)
Try it out and let me know what you think
I wonder the same thing.
I replied below, hope it's satisfactory ^^
Let me know what you think, or if you made changes to the list :)
Trying the deck right now, and just wanted to ask, why Malygos?
Hey, great to see others trying the deck! :)
Up until now I found malygos very useful to fetch both amulets, which I either already traded once or more or allows me to do just that.
Thrive in the shadows is in the deck to do the same actually (plus it triggers shadowcloth needle which helps me more than I thought vs aggro).
I find that decks in current meta really struggle to deal with the big chunky deathrattlers that either heal or give armor (I must add that I haven't encountered a lot of quest mages yet, thank holy mutanus for that).
I completely agree that malygos does feel weird here, but having that draw late really gives a big swing to your tempo. (and hey, a dragon for nzoth :')).
I'll keep updating my list, since I love to play shadow control lists, and let me know if you made any changes to it as well :)
Good luck out there!
Understood. It's a very fun deck, if you draw Vanndar early it's insanely strong, if not it's harder to keep up sometimes. Keep it up, I'm happy to play control again.
