Lightning Bloom, Sphere of Sapience, and Omu provide some exciting new ways to jump-start the standard Malygos combo.

The ideal setup would go something like:

4 mana: Play Twig of the World Tree

5 mana: Lightning Bloom + Omu + Sphere

This gives you 10 mana, with the next spell refreshing your mana. 

Some continuations of the combo include:

  • Malygos + Living Roots + UI + 2x Moonfire = 29 damage
  • UI + Kael'thas + (Free 3rd Spell) + Innervate/Bloom + Germination on Omu + (Free 3rd spell) + Back at 10 mana + etc...
  • Aviana + Innervate/Bloom + Kun + Malygos + Germination/Floop + Damage Spells 

Psychmelon draw Kael'Thas, Jepetto, Malygos, and Aviana or Kun.

Jepetto is a possible candidate to get cut, but can be a good backup plan. If played after Psychmelon, Jepetto will draw either Floop, Omu, or the other 10 mana minion.
